@ushouldbeontv@SkyNews You can bounce off of that gas too. Basically, at orbital speeds (17,500mph+) the atmosphere can't move out of the way ofthe entering object quickly enough and so causes heating/plasma. Believe me, it would feel quite 'crashy' lol.

@Erdayastronaut It's best to be fluent in both! I'm from the UK, here the young are mostly metric, the old mostly imperial and the majority I'd say, use both to a degree. Ie. Mph over km/h but meters rather than yards... all very mixed up! ๐
@Sumurai8@DJSnM Elon tweeted that there will be various versions of the legs, in another design they are 60% longer and V2 design will be more like F9 stage 1 leg.
@DJSnM These pictures really make you appreciate the complexity of the vehicle. I keep seeing people refer to it as a "flying grain silo" and from a distance that's understandable, but it betrays some amazing engineering. Can't wait to follow its progress further.
@CalumGMelville1 Hi Calum, It's Tony here from Viscad Design Services Limited. Could you please call/message me at your earliest convenience regarding non-payment of an invoice? Thanks, Tony.
Peter Jones was commentating at Hillsborough and many felt he never fully recovered from what he saw, dying less than a year later. His final report from that day is an astonishing piece of broadcasting
