Quit val. UEM gonna be the last stand with kpop lads. Not gonna say much as I've probs said this a million times now but I can't play or perform at a game that I hate playing. See y'all around :' )
@YouM3tv yup. gives surface level information on everything with no deep dives leaving you with good basic understanding but not enough to land a role without spending lots of time out of hours honing those skills/learning. Just do the latter without paying £9k a year
I, and I'm sure many others in esports would encourage people to pick a 'part of esports' they want to be involved in and engage in study with that interest.
Interested in production? Television/filmmaking, audio engineering, networking
Running a tournament? Events management, logistics & operations (hell, business management)
There are many non-esports degrees that will be more fleshed out that will have transferrable skills and more marketable outside of the esports niche.
Most importantly, volunteer to events and be proactive about learning as much as you can about it/your niche. Reach out to current industry professionals: through X/LinkedIn/Liquipedia or sometimes credited at the end of an event production. If approached sincerely about learning most will be happy to answer questions or point you to valuable resources.
@Spartan_Parker@kimyeehaw nah so many young kids that play games, just walk round a rust server and it's just full of russian kids. Had a 10 y/o lvl 8 faceit tm8 the other day getting coached by his dad in the background. We're starting to pass gaming down through the family more
@leetimms0@DachshundColin oh yes the logical approach of reformers resolving a problem by voting in the guy that caused it. and the best part is the same people are provoking and misinforming you to think this way to cover for their own greed
@TheTopMostDog@Pirat_Nation The only way that it would be effective would be to an extreme that ruins the casual bf experience. Muscle memory is scary.
Yeah the planet is dying. The government hates us. The animals are leaving. The aliens aren’t contacting us. We might be alone. It just might be you and me
@Noobface@2inks Biggest issue I see with the barricades as well as it makes positioning less of an important factor in fights par high ground and terrain areas making walls implacable
@gausts_pgs@guccilibertaria@AirpodsRust they add new weapons and change the PvP through gun mechanic/recoil adjustments id say that's a sign it's an FPS game. Not to mention that it's first person only and you shoot weapons
@gausts_pgs@guccilibertaria@AirpodsRust Political survival sandbox isn't a bad description at all but denying it's an FPS game is wild. The whole political aspect comes from the FPS/fighting aspect of the game
@Coma_Rust Feel like wipes are a lot harder to watch on twitch where theres a lot of downtime and is usually at times where people are playing themselves. I personally can only watch snowball content live
