Not quite, @dhruv_rathee.
A word of advice—for you and every “historian” this film will rattle: learn Farsi first. The very documents you flaunt in your video (written in Farsi) actually disprove your own claims.
That Farman of 1633 you proudly showcased? It speaks of Raja Man Singh’s mansion, not “land.” At least know what you’re talking about before preaching history. It says—
“The mansions (havelis), along with their appurtenances, belonging to the exalted Crown estate, are hereby granted in exchange for the mansion (haveli) of Raja Jai Singh — which that Pillar of the State (Umdat al-Mulk), for the sake of the Illuminated Tomb, has willingly and voluntarily presented as a gift (peshkash namud). These properties are thus bestowed upon the said Raja and confirmed to him in absolute ownership.”
In fact, @dhruv_rathee, even the book you quoted—“Taj Mahal: The Illuminated Tomb” by W.E. Begley and Z.A. Desai translates the text almost exactly as I have. Did your research team even read it? Here’s a clue: check page 171.
The Badshahnama itself states that the mansion of Raja Man Singh, then in possession of Jai Singh, was taken for the tomb. You wouldn’t catch that, of course, because you don’t read Farsi. Still, here is a hint, turn to written page 403 in the same book.
And yes, earlier farmans make it evident that Raja Jai Singh had begun to obstruct the so-called “renovation.” Why? Because the mansion wasn’t offered voluntarily—it was taken.
Nowhere does the trailer claim it’s fact that it was a temple. It only suggests what’s historically clear: the structure wasn’t originally built by Shah Jahan. Watch the film before you start wailing about it.
On Monday, @kushal_mehra and I will be recording a detailed podcast—with the original Persian documents. You are welcome to try and debunk it—if you can. Consider this an open challenge.
Just one tip before then—learn Farsi. I know you’ve only got three days, but you’re such a “brilliant” mind, I’m sure you’ll manage the basics by then. 😀
I was watching #KurukshetraOnNetFlix. The episode titled Abhimanyu falls back on the same tired trope.
The “cute little boy” Abhimanyu charges in, fights bravely, picks up a rath wheel, and then gets killed by the Kaurava Maharathis.
But according to Ved Vyas (not Reddit or some fancy website), Abhimanyu was the second-best warrior of Kurukshetra, surpassed only by his father Arjun.
The carnage he unleashed before his death was unparalleled. His killings overshadowed the first twelve days of battle. And on the 14th day, Arjun, driven by grief and rage, annihilated almost half the Kaurava sena to avenge his son, making it the most brutal day of the war.
Abhimanyu defeated Drona and Kripa twice, knocked Karna unconscious twice and forced him to retreat. Kritavarma, Dushasan, and others were swatted aside like flies. He beheaded Duryodhan’s son Lakshman, who was being protected by Karna.
Drona himself withdrew from the fight, sat on a hillock, and told Karna; this boy can pierce the very nakshatras if he wishes.
Abhimanyu wasn’t stopped until the Kauravas broke his chariot while hiding. Even on foot, he slaughtered thousands, first with a mace, then with a sword and finally a Rath wheel. He was finally killed only when Dushasan’s son leapt from behind and crushed his head with a gada.
This “Oh, poor Abhimanyu” narrative is infuriating.
My book #Shauryakarman is a homage to Arjun and Abhimanyu, the two greatest warriors ever. It kills two popular narratives "Oh! Poor Abhimanyu" and "Karna was better than Arjuna".
If you haven’t read it yet, you should.
Here’s a screenshot from the book showing the scale of Abhimanyu’s devastation before his martyrdom.
This Diwali keep your pets inside your home if they are afraid of crackers. Just as we averted our eyes when the drains became red with blood of sacrificed animals at Eid.
This Diwali, use an inhaler if you encounter breathlessness just as we used perfume to overcome the stench of rotting carcasses at Eid.
This Diwali, desist from displaying your distaste of our ritual practises just as we maintained a silence when our sentiments were disregarded by posting non-vegetarian food pics at Eid Al Addha.
This Diwali, stop lamenting about air pollution, just as we let you celebrate your X mas &New Year with crackers and cutting a million trees.

Forensics of the Sinauli chariot (1900 BCE)
Fully restored by the SBU-PDUIA branch of the ASI at Greater Noida, the chariot's metallurgical and structural design reveals that it is uniquely placed in Bronze Age history.
It is a scandal that such a technically superior chariot in sinauli,UP circa 1900 BCE isn't discussed in academia much while tomes have been written about non existent but fancifully reconstructed sintashta 'chariots-' all of which clearly werent one and couldn't be used for warfare or even racing according to greatest bronze age wheeled vehicle experts Crouwel and Littauer (when they analysed dimensions of wheel and nave, wait for it, IMPRINTS)
@prakashraaj@Wangchuk66 Ladakh wasn't even a UT in 60 years of Congress. No one showed any urgency and no riots. But now even after becoming a UT all of a sudden it's just so undemocratic, right?
But again, we can't expect someone who believes Modi is behind Gaza conflict to talk sense.
@tejamusings @epicnephrin_e So you're saying before this language and culture conflicts became mainstream and so prominent there was stagnation across India?
Incidents like Nirbhaya and the RG Kar Hospital case are also opportunities for influencers and creators to make posts, poems, cartoons, graphics, and quotes to shame men and the country.
While I don't mind people's freedom to express anger in whatever way they want, it won't really help in reducing rape cases. Your thoughts will resonate with those who already respect women and feel anger when such incidents happen. Such men don't commit crimes against women.
On the other hand, those who do feel no shame. They don't care about your posts, messages, poems, or creatives, or being "ashamed as a man/society/Indian." They'll rape at the next given opportunity. Such people are not fit to live among us.
If you genuinely want such crimes to stop, advocate for swift justice, call for castration as a form of punishment, demand capital punishment, seek the abolition of mercy petitions in rape cases, and protest when courts show leniency toward rapists with nonsense philosophies like "every sinner has a future." Oppose those who advocate for human rights for criminals.
Already recieved more than 10 threats to not talk about #kolkatahorror
It’s not even safe to raise our voices against such heinous and disgusting crimes in this country.

The Dark Side of the Olympic Games: Anti Doping Agency Scam.
Did you know Olympic Anti Doping agency WADA is controlled by U.S. and it allows 3 countries to hold 63% of all Therapeutic DRUG use exemptions and the same 3 countries hold most number of medal tally.
The agency itself is set up with the sole purpose to enable massive doping of the US/Western athletes and to forbid and target other athletes in the name of anti-doping.
Athletes can legally dope themselves with performance-enhancing drugs, all under the guise of "medical treatment."
All thanks to system that World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has created, a system that allows western countries to dominate the medal tally with:
WADA's "exemption list".
This list is a little-known secret that allows athletes to use banned drugs, as long as they get approval. Approval by whom? US controlled WADA.
But here's the catch - the applications are kept private, opening the door for widespread doping. And guess which countries are taking advantage of this loophole? The same three countries that top the medal tally.
If you take a closer look at the numbers. In 2015, 653 American athletes applied for exemptions, with a staggering 60% approval rate. Compare that to Russia, which had a mere 37% approval rate, and China, which had only a single-digit number of approved exemptions.
But that's not all in 2016, the Russian hacker group "Magic Bear" leaked into the WADA database and found that American athletes have been using banned drugs with the help of their own anti-doping agency.
Yes, you read that right - the very agency meant to prevent doping has been enabling it. Over 200 American athletes have received medical exemptions, allowing them to use drugs like synthetic steroids and diuretics.
And it's not just limited to one or two sports. Cycling, athletics, triathlon, swimming, and skiing - all the sports that require peak physical performance - have been hit hard by doping. Even tennis superstars like Serena and Venus Williams have been allowed to take banned drugs, without revealing the medical certificates that justified their use.
WADA's system is a scam. Games should be about fair play and sportsmanship, instead WADA is used as a US weapon to attack adversaries in foreign policy.
