Numerous DMs today, people being told there’s no time for children to play in YR, that they need to be treating it as key stage 1 not teaching areas of learningbecause that’s what Ofsted want. YR is legally part of the STATUTORY EYFS which states that play is essential!

There is no ‘teacher shortage’. There are thousands of qualified experiences teachers who are no longer teaching. There’s a shortage of respect and proper compensation for teachers allowing them to actually teach.
