Rainy season has officially begun! Research shows higher rates of collisions around this time of year. If you are travelling around the City, be extra cautious with wet roads and sidewalks. Drivers--Slow down and drive with extra caution. ☔️ 🌧️

When it’s raining like this, the posted speed limit often far exceeds a speed that is considered safe and within the limits of the “prima facie” speed limit. Drive at a speed that is safe & takes in to account road, traffic and weather conditions. @SFPD @SFPDPIO @VisionZeroSF

Great news from the @sfmta_muni! The NoMa/SoMa Traffic Signal Timing Project is now complete! In total, 360 crosswalks have been re-timed to allow more time for crossing and safer streets for all! 🕺👍🚦
