Pedestrians have priority at junctions.

This means that drivers should give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross at a junction.

Approach junctions with care, reduce speed, use mirrors and check blind spots.

Here’s how to safely pass a cyclist when driving 🚲

When travelling up to 30mph leave at least 1.5m between your car and the cyclist.

If you’re going faster give more space.

Be patient and give plenty of room before and after overtaking.

Once a report is received it will be considered for a speed monitoring assessment.

The results could mean that a Safety Camera Van attends and carries out enforcement.
