Last week Year 3 were treated to a visit from some real Vikings. We saw the jewellery Vikings used to wear, made bread and butter just like the Vikings would have, created a long ship and sailed across the sea into battle! Everyone had a fantastic time.
This is an amazing find from a pre-development excavation on Rathlin Island in 2022, from the burial of a woman of Viking origins/ancestry, but a very early example from the 8th century.
