Ludwig is right. Every year about 50% of your viewers turn over. If you’ve got 500 this year, next year it’s a whole different 500. That’s not a failure, that’s normal. I’ve been sitting at a steady ~20 viewer average for years, and now I see why the number barely moves even though the names and faces keep changing. I’ve basically been trying to hold onto the same ninth graders instead of letting them graduate to tenth grade.
You can’t go live every second online or bend your whole schedule just to keep people from leaving. At some point they’re gonna have other stuff going on. New job, family, different tastes, no more time for streams. And that’s okay. That’s actually a good thing. It means they’re growing.
The real move is exactly what he said. Stop being scared of losing them. You’ve already lost them in a way. They’re going to leave eventually. So let them go with love, keep showing up consistently for whoever’s here now, and put your real energy into bringing in the next wave of new people.
This mindset shift feels freeing.

Just open the tool and play your music.
