I agree with this point.
Freedom of religion is important, but so is respecting the laws, customs, and culture of the country you choose to live in. Why do some people expect accommodation without showing the same respect in return?
Bro, this is actually ridiculous.
During a mountain fire evacuation in Japan, Muslim foreign trainees complained that the bento boxes had pork and mirin, saying they couldnât eat it.
So the Japanese staff removed the pork and tried to accommodate them.
Meanwhile, Islamic law itself has a rule for exactly this situation.
In emergencies, disasters, or when thereâs no halal food available, Muslims are allowed to eat haram things like pork if itâs necessary to survive. They only have to eat the minimum amount needed.
So why the hell are Japanese people the ones being forced to accommodate them?
These people come to Japan, get free food in a disaster, and still demand special treatment while ignoring their own religionâs flexibility.
Why do Japanese always have to bend over backwards for this?
