Check out this beautiful new street mural celebrating #Pride Month on MSA Member @VivaDowntown's Market Street. Located under their Umbrella Alley installation, this mural was created by two local nonprofits supporting Redding's LGBTQ+ community.

A northern portion of the California-Market St. alley closes to cars starting today to allow for work to be completed on the Block 7 project.

This means we're one step closer to more exciting development projects opening up downtown. 🌇

In downtown Redding where concrete foundation work has started for new parking structure that is part of Block 7 project along California St. Structure will be 6 stories, feature nearly 400 spaces. Block 7 also will have affordable apartments, and new Shasta College building.
