A Tale of Unbreakable Dog Love 🐕❤️ (14th May)
Raja was rescued as a puppy in 2021.
He was looked after by a shopkeeper and a beggar on Canal Road, Model Colony, Pune, MH.

A deep bond was formed between Raja and the beggar. Everywhere he was followed by Raja.
So strong was the bond: the beggar was searched for endlessly if missing and was guarded faithfully while sleeping.

This evening, the beggar passed away.

His side was not left by Raja.
The body was loaded into the ambulance. Raja fixed pleading eyes on them—jumping and whining desperately, as if begging: "Put me down too... Take me with him."
It was witnessed with extreme pain.
Raja was comforted as shopkeepers and residents rushed to the spot.
He still waits for the beggar to return.

@indSupremeCourt considered all children innocent. But look at this video. This is the reality that animal lovers and rescuers witness far too often.

Look at what is being done to a helpless animal.

These little psychos show a shocking level of cruelty. They see a living, feeling animal in pain and choose to torment it for s#x. Whether the victim is an animal or a woman or a child, the mindset behind such cruelty should alarm everyone.

And then what happens if that cow or dog reacts in self-defence? The same animal haters, especially the dog haters, would beg for sympathy on the r@pists!!

They will scream about the animal being "dangerous" while conveniently ignoring the abuse that provoked the reaction in the first place.

Why is the suffering of animals always ignored? Why are incidents like these buried, dismissed, or brushed aside?

The media, including outlets like @ndtv @timesofindia
@EconomicTimes are no less responsible when they choose to ignore animal cruelty and instead push narratives that place all the blame on animals.

Why?

Are animals expected to silently endure abuse, torture, harassment, and violence without reacting?

Is that the message being sent?

That victims must suffer in silence, but the moment they defend themselves, they become the villains?

सबसे पहले एक बात तय कर लीजिए - इंसान होने का मतलब सिर्फ बोलना, कमाना और अपने घर तक सीमित रहना नहीं होता। इंसानियत का असली मतलब है उन जीवों के प्रति भी जिम्मेदारी ��हसूस करना जो खाना, पानी, सुरक्षा और थोड़े से आश्रय के लिए हम इंसानों पर निर्भर हैं। अगर हम उन्हीं जानवरों को मारेंगे, पीटेंगे, जहर देंगे, बोरे में भरकर फेंकेंगे या उनके साथ क्रूरता करेंगे, तो फिर इंसान आप हो नहीं, शास्त्रों में ऐसों को ही राक्षस ,असुर कहा गया है ?

अब बात specifically community dogs की।

भारत में stray dog population control के लिए 2001 से ABC (Animal Birth Control) Rules मौजूद हैं, जिनका 2023 में संशोधन भी हुआ। लेकिन ground reality क्या है? ना आम लोगों को इसकी जानकारी दी जाती है, ना नगर निगम properly awareness फैलाता है।

एक गली में अगर 1 feeder dogs को खाना खिला रहा है, तो बाकी 499 घरों का जवाब होता है:
“तुम खिलाते हो तो इन्हें अपने घर ले जाओ।”
“तुम इलाज कराओ।”
“तुम नसबंदी कराओ।”

लेकिन जब कहा जात��� है कि community dogs पूरी community की collective responsibility हैं, तब सब पीछे हट जाते हैं। शिकायत करना सबको आता है, जिम्मेदारी लेना किसी को नहीं।

लोग relocation के लिए पैसे देंगे, private catchers बुलाएँगे, dogs को उठवाएँगे, जहर देंगे, बोरे में बंद करके कहीं फेंक देंगे -लेकिन municipal corporation को sterilization के लिए एक call करना उन्हें अपनी जिम्मेदारी नहीं लगता।

अगर आप कहते हैं:
“हम क्यों नसबंदी करवाएँ?”
“हम क्यों फोन करें?”

तो फिर आपको ये अधिकार किसने दिया कि:
• जानवरों को मारो?
• जहर दो?
• illegally relocate करो?
• feeders को harass करो?
• हर जिम्मेदारी एक इंसान पर डाल दो?

सच्चाई ये है कि बिना community involvement के ये problem कभी solve नहीं होगी।

Sterilization, vaccination, waste management, responsible feeding ��र civic participation - यही long-term solution है। Hate, violence और illegal cruelty नहीं।

Community dogs सिर्फ feeder की responsibility नहीं हैं। वो उस पूरी community की जिम्मेदारी हैं जिसमें वो रहते हैं।

Remember this case from Laxmi Nagar.

They said he was a “rabid dog.”
They said he had been in the area for 4–8 days.
They said he had bitten many people.
A police officer beat him with sticks and even threatened to shoot him.

Later, he died.

People were told he died because he was a dangerous rabid dog.
But today, I don’t want to hide the truth anymore.

This is his medical report.
And the report clearly says - he was NOT rabid.

He was a victim.
A victim of cruelty.
A victim of fear.
A victim of lies.

He suffered, was dragged through pain, and unfortunately could not survive afterward.

What hurts the most is not just his death.
It is the silence.

The police.
The authorities.
The municipal corporation.
The officers.
The government.
The Chief Minister.
The Prime Minister.

Not one of them seems to understand that an animal’s life also has value.
That fear and violence cannot be called justice.
