@petersimeti I don't think they care. Comic book prices are too high. Where I live a Tuesday matinee is $6.50. That's slightly more for a 3 hr more than for *1* marvel comic.

@jpalmiotti The prices are atrocious. A comic book sometimes costs as much as going to the movie. I was into buying them hardcore for almost a year, but I could no longer justify spending $200/month or more on comics.
Who are they for? Who is the target audience?

@KUOW Their names to make them more digestible. I had a teacher from France with 5 or 6 names. Kat von d, George Michael, Jean Claude van damme changed or shortened their stage names. This is not a minority issue per se.

@KUOW To be fair, this happens to a lot of people with unconventional names. Yesterday, I saw a girl with the a name like Kontoya, Kontanya, something to that effect. That's an uncommon name. People will mispronounced it. Many Asians and Europeans Americanize
