VFAHT-JSMU organized a Hand Hygiene and Typhoid Campaign at FG Boys School on September 26th. The enthusiastic 6th-grade students not only had a blast learning about these crucial topics but also gained a lasting understanding of the significance of keeping hands clean

VFAHT-JSMU held the Hand Hygiene and Typhoid Campaign at FG Boys School on 26th September. The audience was 6th-grade students and they learned about these topics with great enthusiasm!

This campaign fused learning with fun, and left students with a lasting impression of the importance of clean hands and vigilant defense against typhoid. The campaign was organized by Kanza Farhan, Aiman Sadiq, and her team Malaria and Dengue.

"Elevating the voice of patients and engaging them in their treatment". World Patient Safety Day is celebrated on 17 September every year. Today we raise our voices towards the measures which should be taken by the healthcare professionals for the benefits of patients.

Most of them had either heard or their children had suffered from this life threatening illness. Some of the children even started to get complications from it and the parents were grateful to our volunteers for the information they could provide!

On 14th September, Typhoid and infection control Awareness Campaign held at NICH was an initiative aimed at raising awareness about typhoid fever, its causes, symptoms, including prevention methods, and supportive treatment options of various infectious diseases.

In this campaign 249 people were approached to educate them about the disease and encourage proper hygiene practices and vaccination. Also for the benefit of the masses pamphlets were distributed.

Let's fight typhoid together and together, we can prevent the spread of infections and keep our communities safe.
