Permanant out-of-office on, laptop shut off for the last time… it’s with mixed feelings that I get off the wonderful, life-changing ride that has been working with @SusRecColl for the last 3 years. I’ve learnt so much… met some amazing people… but now it’s time to move on.
Self-care Saturday. I’ve made soup for my lunches next week, got a delicious meal in the oven (1 portion for tomorrow, 3 for the freezer), my flat is clean, tidy and the cupboards stocked up, I’m tackling the laundry, and best of all… I pick up my kitten today! 🐱❤️
@AmyBootOT@freshblooddr No, not Hall, Hill. Like the geographical feature. Without the S. There are two of us in the Trust, so make sure you include the 2 in my email address…
Although these days I have to do this a lot less as on Zoom my name comes up on the screen!
@REDJanuaryUK has been a little different for me so far as I'm moving house. So I've spent the first week doing lots of short walks (sometimes pushing a buggy), taking the stairs, going round IKEA twice and fitting in the odd run. It's all being active!
We have made the difficult decision to cancel all face to face Open Days in January. This is due to the high numbers of Covid in Sussex at the moment.
We are still going ahead with our Virtual Open day 12th January.
Please share with your teams :)

@Cosatto_Tweets My nephew has lost his hare from his travel system. It's the only toy that he likes to hug. Can you help with a replacement? Or can anyone else help?
December's #TinyAdventure was to build a Lego kit. A fitting way to end a year of Tiny Adventures was a Tiny Lego kit! (Well, it’s not “proper Lego but still…). Very fiddly but very rewarding. Huge gratitude to the @SusRecColl Virtual Café for the inspiration - it's been great!
@SusRecColl Running Course is the gift that keeps on giving. After a year off due to lockdown lethargy I'm doing @REDJanuaryUK. I will start 2022 as I mean to go on… being active for my physical and mental wellbeing. @jeremysruns - you’re inspiring! https://t.co/7oSyJlfuA3
November's #TinyAdventure was to make Cauliflower Pizza. Well, I did, and it was disgusting. Soggy, tasteless base and I could have eaten it with a spoon. Ah well, you can't win them all - the important thing is that I had a go! Plus, it could be the chef's fault... @SusRecColl
My #TinyAdventure for October was to explore Pivot Tables in Excel. Now can use them to show me when I spend my money in a month. I love doing these mini adventures thanks to the @SusRecColl Virtual Cafe and aim to continue next year... any ideas? This month: Cauliflower Pizza!
Last Friday I was working on the @SusRecColl One Step at a Time running course as a digital host. I was so inspired by @jeremysruns and the students that I signed up for the rest of the course (which takes place face to face). /1
Today I went for a 30 minute walk/jog/walk. On my own! On the street! In front of other people! I'm sure I jogged for longer than I did yesterday and I didn't feel like an idiot or embarrassed about showing my backside in leggings!
Just had to go to the very back of the cupboard under the stairs to retrieve something. Now wondering how there was even room for Harry Potter in his cupboard - I'd struggle to fit a cat in mine!
