The Earth is in a protracted ice age, and average global temperatures are around 15°C, still far lower than the long-term historical average of 18°C to 26°C.

The world is just too cold to be facing a crisis of global warming. Polar ice sheets are almost entirely isolated from warmer tropical waters, and any significant glacial ice loss is likely to last thousands of years, potentially raising sea levels by only a few millimeters a year.

Any protracted warming or carbon dioxide rise is more likely to benefit plant growth, improved living conditions, and higher food production. This has already been identified in NASA satellite studies.

Predicted extreme temperature rise scenarios—such as warming reaching up to 5°C by 2050—have been increasingly set aside in recent years by climate modeling cohorts and United Nations assessments as support fades for extreme high-emissions scenarios in favor of more realistic baselines.

The evidence of our ice age world is sitting there like a sudden winter snowdrift. Ten percent of the world's land area is still under glacial ice, which covers 15 million square kilometers (5.8 million square miles)—roughly a third of its peak extent during the Last Glacial Maximum (26,000 to 19,000 years ago).

The Antarctic ice sheet is the largest and thickest ice formation on Earth, reaching up to 4.8 kilometers (about 3 miles) deep. It holds 90% of the world's ice by volume and accounts for around 85% of total global glacial ice cover, spanning roughly 14 million square kilometers (5.4 million square miles)—8.3% of the world's land surface.

The Late Cenozoic Ice Age has not ended, having lasted for 34 million years, triggered by the glaciation of Antarctica, orbital anomalies (Milankovitch cycles), and tectonic shifts that isolated the Antarctic continent as Australia and South America drifted northward.

Human civilisation has risen almost entirely during the benevolently warm Holocene interglacial period, which has lasted for 11,700 years. The alternating cycles of glacial and interglacial periods have been taking place continually for 2.58 million years. These are very long-standing geological cycles, driven by orbital shifts (known as Milankovitch cycles).

However, the oceans are the Earth's greatest and most abundant physical feature visible from space. Oceans cover three quarters (72%) of the globe to an average depth of 2.3 miles, while forests cover 31% and deserts 33%. Most of the rest of the world is still wilderness.

Furthermore, the oceans contain 86% of the surface carbon reservoir and 91% of all retained heat energy; by contrast, the atmosphere holds a mere 1 to 2% of each.

For four decades, public debate has been dominated by fear and guilt, centered on claims of a looming climate crisis caused by us. The UN has led this campaign, which is unrelated to its mandated purpose of resolving international conflicts.

Much of the scientific basis for the campaign was based on worst-case computer model scenarios and forecasts of soaring world temperatures. The intensity of this campaign has progressively been diminishing.

Globalism was sold with a promise of prosperity. In reality, it was the greatest redistribution of wealth in human history.

Globalism meant Western factories closed, borders opened, and jobs relocated to wherever it was cheaper and convenient. The industrial worker in Vienna, the Ruhr region, or Ohio became unemployed or was pushed into low-wage service sector work.

At the same time, profits ballooned for the middlemen who produce nothing. Financial conglomerates, importers, logistics giants, tech platforms, and consultants have pocketed the margin between cheap production in Asia and expensive sales in the West.

The result is a super-rich global elite and a left-behind, indebted proletariat. The middle class—the backbone of every free society—was crushed. This represents the greatest surge in inequality in a century. Without globalism, China would never have risen.

The West gave China everything, including its 2001 admission to the WTO, even though China lacked a true market economy or rule-of-law system. It was a voluntary technology transfer: anyone who wanted to produce in China was forced to hand over their intellectual property.

The West looked the other way on forced labor, state subsidies, currency manipulation, and technology theft. Capital on a scale of trillions of dollars has been pumped directly into China.

The West dismantled its own industrial base and rebuilt it in China. The West financed a totalitarian surveillance state that now uses Western money to rearm, buy up strategic ports, monopolise raw materials, and exercise leverage over us.

China did not rise despite the West, but because the globalist West built it that way. Short-term profit was prioritised over national security, industrial sovereignty, and local workforce stability.

A rootless, stateless elite in New York, Brussels, Berlin, and Shanghai feels at home everywhere and takes responsibility nowhere. In its wake are stranded communities, stripped of industry and upward mobility, entirely dependent on supply chains controlled by a foreign power.

This was no mistake. It is how the system was designed to work.

Ursula von der Leyen announced this week that everyone in the EU must use the official EU age verification app to verify their age before they can log into or post on social media and other digital services.

As an expert in online child safety, I'm here to expose the disinformation in each von der Leyen's statements. See below.

🇪🇺 The EU Kids Act is a pretext designed to enforce mandatory digital identity verification on everyone in Europe. The proposed legislation applies to any digital service featuring feeds, user generated content, or messaging:

Under the proposal, digital services must enforce age restrictions across strict tiers. Tech companies must mandate age verification across all accounts to enforce these tiers legally.

When Australia introduced its social media ban, the government conceded it failed because platform level age checks weren’t reliable. They now reject age estimation as inadequate and shifted to demanding "robust" age checking.

💡 If you eliminate every unproven estimation method, you’re left with exactly 1 functional mechanism: identity verification. There's not other way to ensure age checking is "robust".

No government wants to admit citizens must prove their real identity just to access apps and basic streaming services like Spotify, so they hide behind the ambiguous phrase "robust age checking". This language is now used across Australia, the US, and Ireland to mandate identity checks while avoiding the public backlash of calling it what it is. I will research to see where else it’s being used.

Below is what Ursula von der Leyen told the European Parliament in Strasbourg along with my analsyis:

🇪🇺 "Today, much of this power has been taken out of the hands of parents... What our children need is time... But when a child has a smartphone, all of this is taken away."

💡 This framing falsely presents smartphones as uncontrollable. Apple and Google built free OS controls into iOS and Android settings, covering virtually every smartphone on the market.

These controls achieve every legitimate safety objective without collecting personal data or processing state credentials.

💡 Millions of parents use these parental controls to enforce screen time curfews, block app installations, and restrict communication.

💡 These settings operate at the device level. Teens can't bypass them when protected with a passcode.

To bypass this technical reality, the European Commission uses public grief to shut down logical analysis:

🇪🇺 "Day and night, parents see the costs, loss of sleep, anxiety, even self-harm, and in a growing number of cases, even fatal tragedies… a 14-year-old girl living in Belgium who took her life exactly one month ago, victim of bullying online... Honourable members, enough is enough."

💡 Citing personal tragedies replaces software engineering facts with emotional rhetoric. State laws and age gates don’t alter human behaviour or prevent online harassment. Regulators exploit grief to pass surveillance legislation without explaining how the underlying software mechanisms operate.

The Commission outlines specific age tiers to restrict access:

🇪🇺 "In sum, no social media under the age of 13. No personal account under the age of 15. That means from 13 to under 15, only mini accounts set up and supervised by parents or guardians with limited features and time restriction to one hour a day. And between 15 and 18, safe design will be an obligation for the platforms."

💡 Enforcing age tiers forces tech companies and service providers to rebuild their architecture around total access control. The must disable self-service account creation, purge unverified accounts, build supervised parental workflows, strip algorithmic feeds, and enforce strict session cutoffs.

💡 Social networks operate on open interaction algorithms that inherently expose people to unvetted content. Because software can’t dynamically filter these risks for minors, tech companies must block access for everyone until a person proves their real identity.

💡 It’s not just about social networks. They want the same bans for almost everything, including games and stream services. Even Spotify because it’s possible for customers to message people.

The Commission claims its proposed zero knowledge proof app protects personal privacy:

🇪🇺 "Age will be verified using EU certified tools like our age verification app. This app is built on zero knowledge proof. That means that the platform only learns one single thing, and that's whether you're old enough to allow access or not."

💡 This framing describes what an app or service receives while hiding what everyone must give up. A zero knowledge proof provides a mathematical confirmation, but that confirmation requires an authoritative issuer. Before the app generates a proof, a state approved entity must verify the person's real identity.

The Commission frames this shift as a victory against tech corporations:

🇪🇺 "I am aware that many perceive the power of Big Tech as overwhelming and impossible to roll back. I disagree... So we do not accept this. We are reversing the burden of proof. Now platforms will have to prove to us that they are safe. Because this is not about our minors accessing social media. It is about when and how we allow social media to access our minors."

💡 Social networks don’t access children; parents hand smartphones to children. Reversing the burden of proof forces everyone to verify their identity.

The European Commission confirmed the broader scope of this mandate:

🇪🇺 "We also know that not only minors are at risk. Addictive design, for example, are harming everyone. This is why we need a wider framework too, the Digital Fairness Act that we will propose in autumn."

🚨 Child safety is merely the initial wedge. The Digital Fairness Act expands state mandated identity verification to adults across all online services. Binding real identities to online activity permanently eliminates pseudonymous access, private communication, and democratic accountability.

🚨 Senior state officials and regulators know their demands have nothing to do with child safety. They work closely with tech companies and understand that iOS and Android already provide complete authority to restrict devices locally without collecting personal data. State officials deliberately ignore well established parental controls because they keep internet access under family control. Child safety is a public pretext.

🚨 Governments and regulators use child safety to establish mandatory identity verification across every app and digital service, eliminating online anonymity. When tech companies and state agencies link every social media post, private message, search term, geographic location, and financial transaction to a verified identity, they create a permanent digital dossier on every citizen with a global social graph that makes Cambridge Analytica look like a 2nd grade school science project.

💡 Binding people’s identity to daily activity enables predictive behavioural modelling too. By feeding identity data into automated predictive AI, governments, intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and tech companies move beyond surveillance past behaviour. They can map political affiliations, predict individual actions, flag dissent before it occurs, and control public opinion at scale. Eliminating online anonymity ends free speech, private communication, and democratic accountability.

As Larry Ellison stated at Oracle’s Financial Analyst Meeting in 2024:

This may well go down as the single greatest transfer of public assets by elected democratic governments in world history.

Without any serious consultation with their own citizens, Western governments eagerly aligned with the UN and signed onto framework agreements like the 2015 Paris Accord. What began as voluntary international targets rapidly morphed into binding domestic legislation.

The resulting legacy is the systematic exclusion of taxpayers from decision-making, while administrations power ahead, committing billions in subsidies to unproven pet projects—such as Australia’s much-hyped green hydrogen initiative.

Virtually all heavy industry across the West is now in chronic decline. Manufacturing jobs are being hollowed out, striking directly at power-intensive sectors like electric arc steel, aluminium smelting, and fertiliser production. Once-abundant, cheap, and reliable hydrocarbon energy is being degraded and decommissioned in favour of weather-dependent renewables.

Simultaneously, the supply chain for this transition has been handed lock, stock, and barrel to Beijing. China now produces roughly 90% of all photovoltaic components, refined critical minerals, and panel hardware—cementing its position as the greatest manufacturing power in history through an unprecedented transfer of Western wealth.

In place of high-density power generation, more than a million wind turbines and an estimated 9 billion solar panels are now scattered across open farmlands, hillsides, and coastal vistas. Because these sources are intermittent and unreliable, integrating them into existing power grids presents a colossal $21 trillion global infrastructure challenge.

Prior to this shift, Western industrial policy prioritised dense, dispatchable energy security. Today, governments unilaterally lock in multi-decade decarbonisation commitments that outlast their electoral tenures by decades. Vast tracts of public and agricultural land are greenlit and bulldozed for transmission corridors, access roads, and sprawling industrial turbine arrays—all to serve an intangible belief system that vilifies carbon dioxide, the very driver of essential energy and biological growth.

The tangible result? Some of the most expensive household power bills in modern history, the destruction of dispatchable coal and gas capacity, and severe damage to national industrial, economic, and defensive resilience.

As one outraged writer noted, Net Zero stands as perhaps the most diabolical act of self-inflicted harm ever visited upon democratic nations by their own leadership.

Government by regulatory decree is not government by representation. Mandating a multi-decade economic rewiring without an explicit electoral mandate violates the fundamental social contract between the state and the citizen. Locking in 30-year subsidy contracts strips future generations of their democratic right to adjust policy based on real-world performance.

If we weren’t so accustomed to being betrayed, it would be recognised for what it is: a raw, heavy-handed exercise in power at the expense of the people.

What most people already understand, even without the economic terminology, is that firms like BlackRock operate less like investors and more like modern feudal landlords.

Once the acquisition is complete, the debt is pushed onto the acquired company itself.

The infrastructure becomes a real cash-extraction machine.
Profits flow upward to the shareholders and executives, while the financial burden flows downward to ordinary households.

When the model inevitably breaks down, the consequences are socialised. Communities are left with crumbling infrastructure, polluted rivers, and failing services.
Thames Water in the United Kingdom with a £14 billion debt mountain and repeated sewage scandals is a stark example of what happens when financial engineering takes precedence over public stewardship.

The executives who loaded the company with debt have already collected their bonuses.
The investors have already taken their returns.
And when the system finally reaches breaking point, taxpayers are expected to pick up the bill.
