Honestly, this entire discourse over whether the protesters “did the right thing” is fucking pointless. Palestinian-led grassroots organizations, people who have spent their lives organizing and fighting for Palestinian liberation, endorsed the student action. Meanwhile, chronically online spectators and people who aren’t even in the movement are writing dissertations about whether it was “appropriate.” Your analysis is irrelevant. You don’t get to dictate the terms of a struggle you don’t organize for.

my friend was perfectly healthy before covid and could easily jog 5-10 miles a day and manage a full-time job. after getting long covid at age 35 he now has permanent heart and brain problems and can barely walk. its not hysteria.
