[Dray! @Voca_Dray]

@pamiejaige how can a cover of a song that came out literal days ago feel so nostalgic

[Dray! @Voca_Dray]

@Okletego @FLAVORFOLEY I didn't for a while either, then i went through the soundcloud and lo and behold. He's not credited but That's My Son, i sanity checked by plugging the chorus into my own V6 lol

Well well well.

@JadeoriGotou I've said more about it in Jamiecord but my guess is Mirror Modulation, plays with both the prior album's use of a music term in the name and modulation is the best term to encapsulate the theme of change. Makes me realize retroactively how fitting Cardiac Contrepoint's name is >

[Dray! @Voca_Dray]

@ILuvGemzenokwei @Falin4Yuu @flayyncel @JadeoriGotou i'd love to, but your DMs seem closed!

[Dray! @Voca_Dray]

@Go_Leprechan12 @Falin4Yuu @flayyncel @JadeoriGotou I'd be happy to! Though your DMs seem closed-

I'm actually gonna give this a bump with #flavorfoley, I think this has a genuine chance of being the case and even if i'm wrong, there's also some analysis of Cardiac Contrepoint's name in relation to its themes in that album.

@JadeoriGotou In the same way, a modulation of what one sees in the mirror would be to change the self. The form and function fluctuates, but like a metric or tonal modulation, the old, while it might not always be positive, informs the new.

[Dray! @Voca_Dray]

@JadeoriGotou Counterpoint in music is when two lines take different forms and ideas, but harmonically thrive with each other. What is love but a counterpoint of the heart? Counterpoints can take dissonant forms or beautiful harmonic contours, can live together or leave another behind. >>
