We just released an update with an AI listening mode for Vocable, the head tracking AAC app I've worked on. Completely free, check it out if you have or know anyone who could use some help with speaking https://t.co/5zd1Zpzzs6
Been playing around with @vocableapp and suggested it for a person with dementia and another whose had a stroke. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to support individuals and their families with these #AAC supports. An amazing app with a super easy to use interface! #ATChat
@malewifepeniel Hey! The only way to change the language of the app at this time is to change the device’s language under settings. For example, changing it to German for the entire phone will change the language for Vocable.
@Sylvie_Xandra Hey Sylvie! The keyboard changes to a QWERTY layout when the device is rotated to landscape mode. The initial design decision was to keep the portrait mode alphabetical because of the reduced width. This is something we have gotten feedback on and are open to updating! -Matt
@Sylvie_Xandra Sylvie, thanks so much for sharing. I loved watching the video + reading comments. Would always love to see more TikTok content out there of Vocable but we are a completely volunteer-based app—no one has made a penny from it so it can be free for our users. - Matt
@ErsinSNY Glad you are finding it helpful! And yes, we have a CrowdIn project to help crowdsource other languages. We'd love to have you contribute https://t.co/32RaVxHKCm
🎉 The FREE @vocableapp iOS Text-Based AAC App is now totally customizable (direct touch or head tracking) 🎉 New blog post + video: https://t.co/6GtzMBvbWS
@RachaelBrown42 Update: If you are using an iOS device, you can change the voice by going into the Settings app > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voice, and there is a list of different choices (Note: Siri voices will not work)
I've spent the last two months working on @vocableapp. It's open-source, doing some great things for its users, and just won several W3 awards! https://t.co/sV3d85slSD
vocable aac won three W3 awards this past week including: best in show for use of mobile camera, gold award for health and wellness, and silver award for experimental and innovation in mobile apps! proud of the everyone that's helped on the project so far 🎉
I've been working on @vocableapp this month at @willowtreeapps--it's a free app that helps people communicate when they can't speak or move. We just released 1.4 on Android which introduces custom categories for your phrases!
