@sophlthomson Irritating when signing in is a faff for a service that does not need to be secure and where people will use multiple devices. Secure for what? Can't spend money. Worst thing someome can do is lose your place in a film.
It has been clear for a long time that if we do not figure out how to actually cobble together a coalition for a butlerian jihad against the tech sector, its financiers, and their various reactionaries, then we will lose what remains of our culture, politics, ecology, and minds
@WheredJasonGo That would be fine, if unpopular with some. It's illegal to "glorify" a 'proscribed terror' organisation. There's supossed film of an older Kneecap gig where they allegedly said "up hamas" which is more specific and perhaps a crime.
Feminism that claps for women breaking the stratosphere but stays silent as women beg for sanitary pads under rubble isn’t feminism; it’s theater. What’s the point of shattering glass ceilings if you’re too scared to look down at the blood-soaked floor? For over a year and a half, Palestinian women have died asking not for Mars, but for soap, water, and safety. If your feminism can’t hold both a rocket and a ration line, it’s not liberation; it’s selective celebration.
for the past month i’ve been desensitizing myself to notifications by having my phone send me random pushes
it hasn’t worked at all, but I do check my phone more and feel insane all the time
In Victorian novels, two types of luxuries stand out.
One is exotic fruits from the orient - these have never been cheaper or more available.
The other is the ability to just vibe at your friend’s country house for a month - this has never been as expensive and or inaccessible
