So the “electrical substation” only turns on when the #49ers lose players… but somehow took a few years off during our 2019 Super Bowl run, our 2021 & 2022 NFC Championship runs, and our 2023 Super Bowl run?
Got it. 😂
Every team gets hurt. Can we finally retire this theory?
This paragraph from Carl Jung hits so hard.
“The world is full of people suffering from the effects of their own unlived life. They become bitter, critical, or rigid, not because the world is cruel to them, but because they have betrayed their own inner possibilities. The artist who never makes art becomes cynical about those who do. The lover who never risks loving mocks romance. The thinker who never commits to a philosophy sneers at belief itself. And yet, all of them suffer, because deep down they know: the life they mock is the life they were meant to live.”
A dad can lose friends. He can be misunderstood by his own family. He can carry the weight of criticism and still sleep just fine at night.
Why?
Because his mission isn’t to be liked by the crowd. His mission is to be respected, trusted, and loved by the most important audience in his life.
His children.
One day, those kids will look back and realize why Dad said ‘no’ when everyone else said ‘yes.’ Why he stood his ground when it would’ve been easier to bend. Why he took the long road, even when the short one looked tempting.
A father success isn’t measured by applause.
It’s measured by who his children become.
By how much they seek his company when they no longer need him.
And by the grandchildren who carry his legacy forward.
🚨BREAKING: Erika Kirk has a MESSAGE for ALL of the MEN around the world watching.
"To all of the men watching around the world, accept Charlie's challenge, and embrace true manhood."
"Be strong and courageous for your families. Love your wives and lead them. Love your children and protect them. Be the spiritual head of your home. But please be a leader worth following."
"Your wife is not your servant. Your wife is not your employee. Your wife is not your slave. She is your helper. You are not rivals. You are one flesh working together for the glory of god."
Erika Kirk forgives the man who murdered her husband:
"My husband Charlie...he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life...that young man...
I forgive him.
I forgive him because it was what Christ did and is what Charlie would do."
R.I.P. Charlie Kirk
I didn't know Charlie personally. But he did send me a kind message last year. "I love all people" is what he said. If that is any indication of who the man was, then this country has lost someone special today.
Partisan politics did not stand in the way of him paying me a compliment, and it should not stand in the way of mourning him either.
We cannot become a society where expressing political views, even controversial ones, leads to violence. Whatever you think of his politics, Charlie was a decent man, a patriot, and a brave defender of his values. My heart goes out to his wife and his kids.
@NFL_DovKleiman It’s an unofficial depth chart. Enough with the slobbing already. The coach literally said he’s going to rotate them each pre-season game.
