The most obvious next step should have been Hybrids before going all on EVs which would have given enough time for EVs and & it's Ecosystem to grow & mature gradually & organically where EVs could have thrived. Unnatural & sudden out burst of EV sales without much traction in Ecosystem development is creating uncertainties for EVs future and sustainability. Moreover, Governments lack of enthusiasm is not helping it.

@throttleandtech Labelling is the trick here. Once they stop Labelling E20 as "Petrol" whole Ethanol Circus will fall flat.

What makes you think Congress will not continue the same policies? They all are under same pressure. Remember late 2014 during their last days how an honest minister replaced by their man and he gave Environment Clearances to 73 Projects within 20 days ignoring serious damages to environment.

All Car buyers who has been cheated by dealer or OEM deserve this kind of Justice.

Let's make set the benchmark high for Dealers & OEMs. Let's not be shocked or overwhelmed. An investments worth millions by buyer deserves utmost level of accountability from Dealer as well as OEM

This is the craziest thing you'll read today.

Customer buys a Toyota Innova Hycross ZX(O) Hybrid in 2023, but dealer delivers a ZX (one trim lower).

Customer clueless until he finds out about this, nearly two full years later. Confronts dealer but dealer says 'can't help it now'.

Pissed customer then takes the dealer to court. Court orders Toyota dealer to replace the Innova HyCross with a brand new ZX(O) trim, and pay road tax, insurance etc.

Court also orders dealer to pay customer another 3 lakh for mental harrassment.

When it rains, it pours.

PS: PDI (pre delivery inspection) is important guys. At least, do a basic PDI. Don't leave it to the dealer.

@sameerdontulwar It's just a clever game of distraction through "Labelling". Only Pure Petrol should be labelled as "Petrol". Instead E20 is labelled as "Petrol". Fooling most people to think it's Petrol only. And Rebranding almost Pure Petrol(95-96%) with some additives to make it pricier.

Labelling Labelling Labelling.....that is the root cause & that is saving them. It's simply a lack of awareness game.

Only Petrol should be labelled as "Petrol". If it's labelled as "E20" instead of "Petrol" everything will change.

1️⃣ Dispensers labelled as "E20" will attract the attention of people in Petrol pumps
2️⃣Nobody will refill their E10 cars with E20 labelled fuel
3️⃣People will start asking where is Petrol?
4️⃣People will start questioning its pricing.
5️⃣ People will start realising the importance of E10 fuel availability
