The reason women say "If a woman loves you......" not "if you date a good woman" is because they are exalting feelings above responsibility.

The problem with that statement is that, even if you are not in a relationship with her and you don't love her, she would treat you well because of her feelings. But you could be in a relationship with her, and love her completely and she would not bat an eye because her heart is not there.

First, I cannot understand why you're in a relationship with whom you do not love and cannot love. There is no excuse. Secondly, relationship/marriage comes with responsibility- to love and to cherish. As long as that relationship exist, you have to love the person.
