Have you ever even read "Taiwan's" "constitution?"

It says "Republic of China" and claims to rule over all of China (actually more territory than the ACTUAL internationally-recongized country of China claims).

Taiwan is a province, even according to its own constitution.

▪️Amid the daily political circus and hallucinations of a "retreating" or "conciliatory" United States, the US continues expanding wars, proxy wars, a global blockade on Russia, China, and Iran as well as again targeting some of China's largest companies;

▪️Even if these companies did associate with China's military (as US companies do with the US military) - unlike the US military, China's military has not attacked or invaded a single nation this entire 21st century - the only "danger" these companies pose to the US are in terms of America's inability to compete fairly- the only "danger" the Chinese military poses is to illegal US encroachment closer to China than to America's own shores;

▪️The US decision is a deliberately false pretext to sabotage China's rise and firmly lays to rest fantasies of the US seeking to "accommodate" or "coexist" with China;

▪️The actual trajectory of US-Chinese relations has always been and continues to be one of US encirclement, containment, and desired primacy over China;

▪️The US war of aggression waged against Iran is done under a mountain of lies, the biggest being the US is trying to stop Iran from obtaining "nuclear weapons" its own intelligence agencies categorically admitted it wasn't pursuing;

▪️The US has also lied about the role of Israel during the war, using it as scapegoat as explained in an ENTIRE CHAPTER of the 2009 Brookings "Which Path to Persia" paper;

▪️Another major lie told by the US is why it is placing a blockade on Iran - to supposedly collapse the Iranian government;

▪️The real reason (the same reason the US is sanctioning and blockading Russia) is to create a global economic crisis, further isolate China, and specifically place nations (both Europe and Asia) under further US energy dependence;

▪️Could the US openly say that is why they were imposing the blockade or in fact waging war on Iran? Obviously not. Hence the many lies;

▪️Of course if the US could overthrow the Iranian government it would, but it realizes how difficult that is having carried out regime change wars around the globe for well over the past century;

▪️The US ultimately seeks to contain and subordinate China/destabilize and destroy it if necessary - and with everything it does it seeks to undermine China's economic, technological, and political rise, while enhancing its own domination over it and the multipolar world China seeks to create;

▪️China understands this fully and is pursuing full-spectrum self-sufficiency in terms of manufacturing, technological development, and energy - and is buying the time to do so no matter how it looks politically;

▪️This is the lens upcoming meetings must be seen through;

▪️Possible Chinese agreements to buy US LNG is not done to reward the US for its war on Iran and its deliberate disruption of energy flow from the Middle East - even though that is precisely why the US launched this war - but instead to pragmatically buy the time necessary to close the 5 year window toward energy independence;

▪️China likely could weather energy disruptions throughout this period - but if it can even temporarily buy time and space to do so without significant disruptions - it will;

▪️China is likely to make other trade concessions - short of accepting any measure that would significantly/permanently undermine its overall objective of self-sufficiency and sovereignty;

▪️And you'll know no "grand bargain" was arrived at by the fact the US military continues to build up all across the Asia-Pacific while waging proxy wars and outright wars of aggression against all of China's closest allies worldwide;

▪️Like in a chess game where important pieces are sacrificed - people are going to have to be patient and look at the long-game and ultimate goal of each player to see what is really happening and why and avoid the knee-jerk conclusions of "subordination" or "grand bargain" many will be tempted to draw;

▪️The US war on Iran was mentioned specifically in this same statement laying full blame for the consequences of the war on US aggression.

▪️For those imagining the US war on Iran is "for Israel" instead of part of its wider war on multipolarism for US primacy, here is Russia and China themselves making it clear otherwise and publicly acknowledging they understand and are working contra to this central US geopolitical objective.

Again - pointing out Israel is a US proxy and is not "forcing" or "controlling" the US - DOES NOT - mean Israel is "innocent" - it is an extension of US criminality and equally guilty of all the crimes it carries out on behalf of the US.
