@cbawiththiss@MarlonTag@scarlett_w53584 Thank you, Em. But you’ve helped give those same survivors a voice too. You’re a wonderful advocate, as well as being a survivor yourself. I’m very proud of you. ❤️
I’ve been writing about the grooming gang epidemic for 15 yrs, but this is the first time I’ve written a book from a survivor and parent’s POV. Thanks to @MarlonTag & @scarlett_w53584 for trusting me with their v important story. https://t.co/KtUzBH8pTC
Without Virginia Guiffre's courage, her civil case and her book, public opinion would not have changed on Andrew.
And without public opinion changing... well... it's hard to imagine that Thames Valley Police would done what they did this morning.
Here's to Virginia.
I am overwhelmed with the support and kind comments coming from complete strangers.
Myself and my dad @MarlonTag have been to hell and back to get where I am today and it hasn’t been easy , far from it but better days are coming❤️
🚨 Scarlett is now active on Twitter/X— @scarlett_w53584. Your follow would mean a great deal to her and help raise awareness. Thank you for your support ❤️
🚨 Sky has dedicated a website to Scarlett's story and her interviews with other survivors, highlighting the courage it takes to share these experiences.

Whistleblowing ex-police #spycops has become ‘an inconvenient truth’
Well today after 10 VERY long years of waiting to give my evidence @ucpinquiry let the inconvenience and truth begin!
"We shall seek the truth and endure the consequences"

Let’s be absolutely clear, there is no difference between the criminal gangs in London exploiting children and the grooming gangs in Rotherham. Society continues to glamorize organized crime with labels like gangsters, mafia, and cartel, masking the brutal reality behind these names. From films that glorify violence to stories depicting the Russian/Albanian mafia abducting children and selling them to predators, we’ve normalized what should be universally condemned.
The truth is, silence often prevails—not out of ignorance, but out of fear. Fear of losing votes, fear of losing investments, or even fear for one’s safety. Yet the cost of that silence is paid by the most vulnerable.
And every community suffers.
The media has a responsibility to speak with honesty and consistency, regardless of faith, religion, ethnicity, or financial status, anyone who abuses or rapes children is a paedophile—nothing more, nothing less.
Here I am in 2020 in the flimsiest, most pitful PPE - like so many other NHS staff, some of whom died from the Covid they caught in their hospitals.
Tory peer @MichelleMone - who today rightly (& wonderfully) lost her legal case - dares to claim she’s been ‘scapegoated’.
What, Michelle?
For the £122 million you pocketed from taxpayers for delivering unusable PPE – at least £65 million of which went straight into your venal husband’s offshore accounts in the Isle of Man?
For being one of a small minority of corrupt grifters who saw a global pandemic as nothing more than a chance to get rich quick?
For caring more about lining your own pockets than the deaths of NHS staff & patients?
For being disgustingly cynical & avaracious - unlike all those millions of ordinary, decent Britons across the country who stepped up with such courage & decency?
I was given masks whose ear loops fell off & aprons so flimsy they ripped apart when you tried to put them on, Michelle.
Nurses and porters in our hospital died from the Covid they caught there, Michelle.
How dare you try to bleat victimisation now, Michelle?
You are the polar opposite of the values that should govern public life.
Repay what you owe & get your dishonourable form as far away from the House of Lords as possible.
Here’s the truth. Hundreds of children in our care system are groomed into criminal gangs and exploited by predators. Hundreds of young people leave care only to face homelessness. Hundreds more leave care with severe mental health issues, and spend a lifetime on medication or take their own lives.
Shame on you @MrRavoon for your farticle in @thetimes
You didn't have to say a word about the young Scottish poet. You chose to. You found a minority in the minority world of poetry and dragged her by her hair into your arena, in front of your audience, to tell her that 'Pretending to be thick is just a pose to get more likes.'
You write the following with telling and nasty ambiguity "Predictably, as a young woman online, she was subjected to abuse. But she was also being abused at home: in 2024 her ex-partner pleaded guilty to domestic abuse."
@MrRavoon Fandan, pronounced "fan-dan," is a Scottish word for a pretentious, arrogant, or conceited person. Feardie is a scottish word meaning cowardly.
May she rub your parsons nose in her continued success.

Disgusted to see the cynical use of ‘Sit Down’by @TRobinsonNewEra.
No permission was granted, and we are looking into our options.
The song and most of our topical lyrics, make it very clear where we stand, and it’s the antithesis of this organization
If you buy only one book this year, make sure it’s Saltwater Mansions by the supremely talented @d_whitehouse Part memoir, part reportage, it tells of love, loss and why other peoples’ stories matter. It is astonishing.
