@Wheelbarrowlemo @MariaUloko Yep, antibiotics prescribed, luckily my provider accepts/understands PCR. They just say two days off antibiotics/supplements to do a valid test. I would go ahead and test if you meet that criteria. My bacteria is super resistant, no cure yet. But at least I’m not being gaslit

@angeliaann @AshleyGWinter Also, your insurance sounds fully insane. I’m in Canada and our medical system has gone nuts too - we can get a referral, but the wait times are up to a year anyway 🤷‍♀️

@angeliaann @AshleyGWinter Wow, that’s awful. I did a home test with MicrogenDx to find out what I had, regular cultures weren’t picking it up and I was in pain. Now I know what I have, but my antibiotics have been utterly mismanaged.

@angeliaann @AshleyGWinter Have you had your urine PCR tested? Sometimes it doesn’t actually go away, and standard cultures don’t pick it up - you look too young for vaginal estrogen!
