Honest answer from someone who has been doing OF for six years:
Unless you have an agency running things for you (pls donāt do that) you need to constantly be pushing out contact to attract new buyers. That means running multiple socials daily and trying to get multiple viral posts per month. Unless you already have a huge following then itās a lot easier but most creators start from the group up.
You also have to prioritize the content you sell to get as many subs to renew their subscriptions as possible. Donāt post just once a month or go weeks without answering messages. You donāt need to be posting daily (some guys actually prefer that you donāt because it comes off as spam) BUT you should still be making it clear youāre active on your page and you genuinely are passionate about what you post.
Biggest tip I have is establishing a core audience who isnāt just there for the content but is actually there for YOU. Yeah thirst traps are great but guess what? Everyone does that. What sets you apart is showing your personality and proving to your subs that you arenāt just a marketing tool but youāre a real person who has more to them than good looks. The sexy posts will only get you so far.
Subs wonāt stick around if you come across as a bot who just wants to sell stuff. You gotta talk to them and share aspects of your personality and hobbies to build connection. Iād rather have a small group of loyal subs who stay for ME than thousands of unloyal subs who constantly come and go because they donāt actually care about my stuff.
Also a lot of these girls who claim to be making millions are lying and editing their stat pages. It takes a lotttt of subscribers and big spenders to break into the .0X range. Most of the millionaire creators have either a huge following so it was easy for them to get thousands of subscribers quickly or they are ran by agencies.
You can 100% become that successful without an agency but it just takes consistency and lots of posting. Try to stay on top of trends and establish a niche for yourself that will stand out. Donāt be generic! Thereās enough of that on the platform and subs donāt want to spend on creators who are basically just copycats of other people. Invest in your branding and be UNIQUE.
The real truth is there is no secret and anyone telling you there is one is lying to you. The harsh reality is being successful in this industry is luck based. Doesnāt matter how good your content is, there is no guarantee youāll go viral enough times to gain a following. You just have to keep trying and constantly pivot to keep up with the changes. Iāve seen girls go from making millions to making nothing because they didnāt adapt well. Thereās no guarantee for success in this line of work and thatās the scariest part about it.
