@SSoujuurou14425 There is a German term for this: „Sich etwas bewusst machen.“ That means something like „to make oneself aware of something.“ Schopenhauer talks a lot about stuff you should know if you are intelligent and sensible, but he articulates it in a way that makes you aware of that.
