8:46 a.m. Flight 11 crashes into the north face of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, between floors 93 and 99.
9:03 a.m. Flight 175 crashes into the south face of the South Tower of the World Trade Center, between floors 77 and 85.
10:28 a.m. The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapses, 1 hour and 42 minutes after the impact of Flight 11.
10:50 a.m. All five stories of the Pentagon on the West side where American 77 crashed mostly at 1st-3rd floor level collapse due to the fire started by the crash.
@CCFoote22 We heard from MoCo Utilities. They are about to do some replacement work in that area--but it will not start for a bit, and they have yet to hear any complaints about the area. If it continues--we suggest you report it to 910-947-6315.
@CCFoote22 Hi there! We are contacting Moore County Public Utilities to see if they have been working on the lines out that way. There is a large sewer line that crosses in that location.
Hennie is a familiar face to the Village of Pinehurst as an active Citizens on Patrol (C.O.P.) member with the Police Department.
Tom Hennie will take the oath of office and be seated as a Pinehurst Councilmember during their next meeting on 9/12
During a special meeting on Monday, August 21, the Village of Pinehurst Councilmembers unanimously voted to appoint Tom Hennie to fill the empty council seat after Jane Hogeman’s death in July.
The appointment came after interviews with three of the four applicants: Kevin Drum, Tom Hennie, and Brandon Lankford. Applicant Brett Anthony was not available for an interview.

System Pressure Advisory! Water customers in Pinehurst and Seven Lakes of the Moore County Public Utilities water system are experiencing a period of low water pressures due to an unknown cause.
Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water. You will be advised when the water tests show the water is safe to drink. Water customers are strongly urged to conserve water whenever possible.
