Can I do local split-screen multiplayer *and* online multiplayer at the same time?

Example: A Stardew "double date" where Mojo and I can share one screen and our friends across the country share their screen & join us.🙂

Doing some more work today on my new 1.16.4 modpack. Things are moving along nicely and I have high hopes that this will be a one-of-a-kind Minecraft experience!
