🚨@VoteSaraBaxter: "I'm looking forward to getting rid of some things that I think are wasteful. [...] That is one of the big things that's on everyone's minds right now. Let's cut people's property taxes, and find where we can hone in on things that are important."
The Rural and Family Lands Protection Program is working:
Thundercloud Ranch, a 1,042-acre cow/calf operation with hay production in Manatee County, Florida, will be permanently preserved from development through a rural lands protection easement, in aquatic partnership with Manatee County. This property is part of the headwaters for Gilley Creek which is a major tributary to the Manatee River and consists of natural mesic flatwoods and scrub habitat with improved pasture. Thundercloud provides a connection between Little Manatee River Southfork Tract owned by the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Edward W. Chance Reserve, which protects Lake Manatee flowing into the Manatee River. Thundercloud Ranch is located within the Florida Ecological Greenways Network.
Honored to have Governor Ron DeSantis on the Team! The Governor has been supportive of our mission to stand with Florida’s farmers and I am proud to have his endorsement.

Yesterday, we had an incredible time at our Annual Shop with a Cop event. The evening began with a pizza party with the kids and their families, followed by a special visit from Santa. Each child was paired with a deputy before heading out to Walmart for holiday shopping, with $120 per child to pick out gifts and essentials for Christmas. All thanks to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Foundation and everyone who support us.🎄🎁🛒
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Retired K9 Bert. Born in 2015, K9 Bert was a cross between a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois. He served proudly from 2016 to 2023 as a Patrol and Explosive Detection Dog, retired when his handler was promoted to sergeant, and later came out of retirement in 2024 to serve once again before his final retirement earlier this year. Throughout his eight-year career, K9 Bert located hundreds of felony suspects, including three armed suspects who fled onto the grounds of Mar-a-Lago. He also conducted countless explosive sweeps for VIPs, serving during President Trump’s first term, reelection, and the start of the second term. K9 Bert’s bravery, dedication, and loyalty made him an exceptional partner and protector. He will forever be remembered and deeply missed by his PBSO K9 family, and all of us at PBSO. 🐾
@JayCollinsFL Wishing you a peaceful day, Jay. Thank you for your service. I know veterans carry with them the stories and memories of the brothers and sisters in arms that they lost on the battlefield.
I hope each of you take the time to remember the reason for the long weekend.
The freedom we are able to celebrate today was paid for in full by brave men and women who believed wholeheartedly in the ideas, ideals, and principles of our great nation.
Today, we thank them.
