Even though their practice is after school our wrestlers need to brave the winter weather to get to practice all season long. Not only is this hard on the kids but on the equipment as well. Having to unroll cold mats has caused cracks and tears. Vote YES this February 5th.
Last Friday representatives from the Masonry Institute of Iowa came to Perry to teach kids how to lay bricks. It is things like this which make our Industrial Tech program so valuable for the future of our children. Vote YES this February 5th.
Every year since 1966 Perry has had both state officers and national qualifiers through SkillsUSA. That is 53 years of excellence! Yet their workspace has seen very little done to it during those 53 years. We can fix that. Vote YES this February 5th.
Perry has seen growth in the number of girls, of all ages, who participate in wrestling. The proposed new addition to the high school would not just provide much needed locker room improvements for the boys but enable girls to have a place as well.
The school currently has two auto bays which are very crowded and fill up quickly with students. The proposed new addition will have eight bays giving them enough space so that all students can come and get hands-on learning together. Please vote YES this February 5th.
Come out to the first of three public meetings tonight to get all the details of the upcoming bond referendum. Tonight's meeting will begin at 6:30 at the Perry Performance Arts Center. Other meetings are set for Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 1 at 5 p.m.

The Junior Jay Wrestling Club has kids from kindergarten through 8th grade who come to learn wrestling and all of the life lessons that come with it. A new room will be a benefit to kids of all ages in our community. Vote YES this February 5th.
