Since you hate what the chart looks like.
Take a look at the data onchain.
$BTC biases based on category:
- smart money are heavy on shorts
- whales are heavy on longs
- public figures are heavy on longs
🧵: Quickly, let me explain what this all mean.
This doesn’t look like a bottom, but it looks like phase one after a leverage flush.
Here’s why:
1. The dump to 59k was real, but it wasn’t finished yet. Yes, BTC nuked hard and flushed a ton of late longs, but open interest stayed high.
A real bottom usually comes with:
- OI collapsing
- Traders getting bored
- Price going sideways, not bouncing cleanly
We don’t have that yet.
2. The bounce is mechanical, not belief-driven, and this bounce happened because:
- Liquidations stopped after $2.2B worth of longs were liquidated.
- Shorts took profit
- Price snapped back to the nearest liquidity pocket
So far, there’s no strong long conviction behind it, and funding being basically flat confirms that.
3. Smart money not buying this bounce is the biggest red flag.
- Smart money is net short
- Public figures are heavily long
- Whales are neutral / hedged
That’s not how bottoms form. However, that’s how range traps and second legs down form.
All together, what do I think happens here?
Well, I am not calling doom, just probabilities & the
> Most likely paths:
- Chop + retest lower or range with another flush to scare out bounce longs.
> Less likely: clean V-reversal continuation.
Could this still go up? Of course. But risk/reward is bad for fresh longs here.

Land Web3 Jobs in 2026: The Cold DM Strategy
The truth is that job boards don't work for everyone because companies get multiple applications per role and they mostly use bots to filter resumes, which means your application may never get read by a human.
Winners bypass the system entirely.
They send cold DMs, build public proof of work, and play the volume game by sending as much DM as possible consistently. This strategy lands jobs at DeFi protocols, blockchain foundations, and crypto startups right now.
Most applicants lose because they only submit applications. You win by going directly to the decision-makers, it’s simple, you just have to find your targets and here's how:
1. Search the company on X or LinkedIn
2. Follow founders, hiring managers, department heads
3. Join their Discord or Telegram
4. Watch for pain points in conversations
Craft Your 3-Paragraph DM:
Paragraph 1: Hook with specific insight. Reference a recent announcement, a challenge they mentioned publicly, or a gap you spotted.
Paragraph 2: Propose your solution. "I can build X" or "I delivered Y for [similar project]." Be concrete.
Paragraph 3: Simple ask. "Open to a 15-minute call this week?"
Example:
"Hey [Name], saw your tweet about scaling [Protocol]'s community engagement. Engagement dropped 15% last month based on Discord activity which is caused by fragmented channels that killed momentum.
I reorganized community structures for two DeFi protocols and boosted engagement 40%+ through targeted content strategies and incentive alignment. Happy to share case studies.
Are you open to a 15-min call this week?"
This works because you:
- Show research (specific metric)
- Identify their pain
- Offer proven results
- Ask for one small action
Web3 runs on reputation and proof of work, you should create yours by:
- Designing a clean resume in Canva highlighting web3 projects, measurable results, and technical skills
- Converting it to a simple portfolio site with AI tools
- Add the link to your X bio
- Posting threads, analyses or code snippets of what you are working on.
- Share client testimonials (get permission first from them)
- Document your learning publicly
- Add profile highlights showcasing wins

Yapping is dead. InfoFi isn't!
InfoFi (or Information Finance), is the finance of information, which means turning knowledge into real economic value. It's not just memes or quick tips; it's about monetizing deep insights.
Platforms like Kaito and Xeet might face API hurdles, but InfoFi thrives beyond them. Creators and educators have monetized info long before these tools, and they'll continue after.
At Voux Business School, we view InfoFi through an education lens. Without structured learning, info is noise but with education, it's currency.
As a content creator or aspiring builder, there are many ways to make money in this space:
- Participate in Educational Bounties/Contests: You can use platforms like @SuperteamEarn, @Moku_HQ, @deworkxyz, @scribbledao and so much more. Create content that teaches DeFi, NFTs, or Web3 models. Other ongoing opportunities include @0xTheWeb3Labs audit contests (e.g., ChooseMe project with $1.5k bounties for security reviews until Jan 22) and blockchain hackathons on Devpost.
- Apply for Education-Focused Grants: Ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum offer grants for creators building educational resources. Fund your InfoFi projects while teaching others.
- Join Ambassador Programs with an Edu Twist: Reach out to Web3 projects for roles creating educational content, so you earn while explaining wallets, protocols, or crypto economics. For example, Cyfrin Ambassadors (@cyfrin) create educational content on blockchain security, organize events, and partner with universities, by doing so you earn while teaching wallets, protocols, or crypto economics.
- Acquire Skills for Superior InfoFi Content: Learn design tools (videos, graphics, animation) and project management to craft high-quality, engaging educational materials. These skills boost your content's appeal, helping you stand out in InfoFi and monetize effectively.
At Voux Business School, our courses teach you and turn you into a knowledgeable person in blockchain, so you could join the infofi wargon.
Guess who's back? 👀
Voux Business School is here to help you build the skills that matter in today's world.
No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just quality education and real career opportunities.
Let's build something great together. 🚀
A Shoutout to All Builders in the space!!!
