hi!
I decided to come out of retirement briefly for #VALORANTChampions 2025. I worked w @__Smit & @zoestol to build a site for the teams & players at Champs.
This was a passion project we knocked out in 2 days, so there are bound to be some bugs
enjoy!

In response to serious public allegations of cheating, match-fixing, and other misconduct within the VALORANT Challengers North America (NA) ecosystem, Riot Games conducted an investigation and extensive review that encompassed video footage, player interviews, internal system logs, and third-party integrity data.
This comprehensive review, which included consultation from third-party integrity partners, did not find sufficient evidence to substantiate any allegations of cheating, coordinated manipulation, or betting-related misconduct involving any players, teams, or organizations.

Here's my analysis of the Fracture game referenced in the @seangares match fixing video, and why I don't think that anyone on @BlueOtterGG was throwing the game intentionally.

I’m often asked which tools I use for esports data analysis. So, I built a directory to help analysts, coaches, and players find the best tools. There are probably many more great tools out there, so if I’m missing any, submit them, and I’ll add them!

Since late December, I have been working alongside @__Smit and Justin Kaplan to create an application to aid VALORANT players and organizations improve their performance. The software will feature automated scrim stat tracking using the @TheOverwolf API, a daily survey with questions specifically targeted at VALORANT Players, and insights driven by the two in tandem.
While I was studying at the University of Virginia, I came across an article written by our basketball team's coaching staff, "Dribbles and Data", where the premise was discussing the usage of data outside of direct basketball statistics in order to find improvements in an athletes game. Some of this data included sleep duration, heart rates, breathing rates, and body temperature.
When I joined @teamrrqofficial as an analyst, one of my primary goals was to start a similar initiative at a more fundamental level. This included having players complete a daily survey to track their habits. This data would then be used alongside scrim and match stats to find where players may be the most consistent and what habits were hindering their gameplay.
The software will be fairly straight forward at launch, but this is by design. I want to work with players and staff alike to build a tool that is useful. To join the waitlist for a tentative launch on March 20th, visit https://t.co/4XS4tdjwJ9.

Automating a system to create a path to pro is fine.
Automating a system that does not have an admin on stand by to deal with problems that decides what players make it into challengers, is not.
we just auto-lost from premier because one of my teammates dced and it said cheater detected. All this hard work gone in 2 seconds I hope riot does something about this. @riotgames@VALORANT
