The Church needs a speedy process to defrock and eject those so determined to be unholy and not Catholic. Let them protest the Church while teaching yoga. Their position is a sacred calling with extreme responsibility, not a tenure. This is an abomination and abusive to the faithful.
June, 2025: After this post ⬇️ goes viral, Bishop Lucia (God bless him) instructs Fr. Fred Daley, Pastor of All Saints Catholic Church in Syracuse, NY, to eliminate the abuses from his parish. For (just one) example, Fr. Daley is evidently told to stop beginning Mass with the Hindu “Namaste” greeting.
So, Fr. Daley stops beginning Mass with “Namaste.” But then…
August 2025: After the (entirely appropriate) outrage at the abuses at his parish died down, Fr. Daley evidently sees his opportunity. He reverts to beginning Mass with a bow to the congregation and then he mouths (but does not say out loud), “Namaste.” However, when you bump up the audio (see clip) you can actually hear him whisper it.
October 2025: He’s managed to get almost the whole congregation back to beginning Mass with the “Namaste” bow. Enough people have finally done it that he now openly congratulates them, saying, “we’re getting better each weekend!!”
This is hardly the worst abuse at All Saints. I mention it simply because it so clearly illustrates not only Fr. Daley’s unorthodoxy, but also his flagrant rejection of legitimate authority, and it shows that merely “correcting” him is insufficient.
He cannot be trusted to implement “corrections” he receives from his Bishop. He is like a devious child who will smile and say “yes, father” to his dad only to run out with his friends and do the complete opposite of what he just promised. And it is not just about his own sins; he is fomenting rebellion among his flock--egging them on to, like himself, disobey their own bishop and embrace religious syncretism.
And now… we have Fr. Daley hosting one of the most radical pro-abortion politicians in congress at his parish to speak.
Dear Hierarchy:
I take no joy in seeing any priest suspended from ministry, laicized, or excommunicated. These are painful actions. But sometimes they are necessary. Priests like this are proving that they are obstinate in their heresies and unwilling to change even when ordered to by their Bishop. They are chasing souls away from salvation. They are the true wolves in sheep’s clothing that Our Lord warned against. Please protect the sheep from them.
I don’t know the whole situation here and I don’t pretend to, nor do I purport to know exactly what should be done. All I know is that, clearly, more should be done. You, dear hierarchy, have called us to evangelize. I do my best at that. But what am I doing to a soul if I tell him to go find a Catholic parish, and then he stumbles upon this one?
Everyone should have absolute confidence that if he walks into a Catholic Church, he is going to find orthodoxy and reverence: not, as with All Saints Syracuse, sacrilege, heresy, and flippancy.
Thanks be to God, very few parishes (relatively speaking) are like All Saints Syracuse. But it shouldn’t be “very few.” It should be zero. And while the number remains small in relation to the whole, it is not small in absolute numbers. One can find parishes like this in many places. Please, dear hierarchy, end these abuses –*all* of them – if you want to see renewal in the Church.
Huge props to a hero, just doing what heroes do: living out what they know is the right thing to do and making it look like easy. Why? Because it actually is easy.
Heroes are program themselves differently day to day and then just follow through with their default mode when put to the test that yields an ultimate good.
Michael Desronvil, the now legendary Lone Juror: “I want to thank God for my Catholic faith." Hero.
And today is the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel
Be like these Michaels. Fight evil, no matter how long & painful the battle. Because God wins.
Imagine how massive the propaganda must have been to convince young people that the one on the left “isn’t a child” and the one on the right “is a woman.”
Conservative Americans now oppose war because the 70 years have made us less free, less safe, less Christian, less healthy, and less patriotic; while we’ve become more corrupt, more Islamic, more poor, and unrecognizable as American.
The Pentagon has become its own country within America, declaring and conducting wars all over the globe with no support from or benefit to American citizens.
🚨 Sylvester Stallone Goes Off on the U.S. Engaging in Foreign Wars
“Now I realize all war is futile. It's stupid. It's a mechanism to make tons of money for the War Department and its manufacturers. These kids just going out there into a grist mill, being chopped up — and then when they come back with no arms, ‘Oh sorry, you're on your own.’ I hate it and I'm bitterly opposed to it.”
@MattWalshBlog Matt - this is opposite world. Instinctively you want them to get back to work. But as Sowell would suggest, we are wildly better off paying them to have dog birthday parties than to do their job.
Here's why the West feels increasingly unstable:
1. Greek philosophy taught us how to think.
2. Roman law taught us how to organize socially.
3. Christian theology taught us what to value.
Western institutions are openly hostile to all three of these civilizational pillars.
Buildings and paperwork don't hold people together.
Essences and shared ideals do.
@liam_out_loud Wonderful job on this. A great quick- reference framework for making sense of the managed decay of the west, formerly known as Christendom.
During Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Hopkins, Minnesota, a Catholic priest wept while consecrating the chalice. Later, he said he experienced Jesus shedding His blood and, at one point, could not lift the chalice because it felt so heavy.
Why does new information always mean someone was lying? And why is new information always more reliable than old information? Social media has probably peaked, and now is probably less reliable than cable news.
Conservatives, please grow out of the click bait narratives. It devalues conversation.
The FBI File on Trump's Assassin Just Leaked...Everything They Told You is A Lie
New evidence just blew up the Thomas Crooks narrative.
Two mystery men were with him at a gun store weeks before Butler. Another unidentified man trained with him the day before.
Even more damning, an anonymous donor paid to cremate him.
Who paid? What are they hiding?
This new information is disturbing.
Total. Boobery.
We can and should love our country, but without blind tribalism and vague ideas that we are always #1.
Half our culture is hyper determined to destroy anything righteous, prosperous, or truth seeking. And we have to own it and not pretend it is a foreign import. In fact, America has exported this disease to the rest of the West and what used to be Christendom, contributing greatly to its decline. And we should own our part in that as well.
Love America. Fight for the founding ideals. But “we’re #1” because we’re America, is cheap nonsense. Much of the culture stopped being the America you love a long time ago.
I have never had more people who are not Catholic tell me what it means to be Catholic than since I started openly talking about my faith.
It is honestly wild.
People who do not go to Mass telling me what the Mass means.
People who reject the Church telling me what the Church teaches.
People who have not opened the Catechism telling me I am practicing Catholicism wrong.
People who mock the Pope telling me what Catholics are supposed to believe about the Pope.
People who do not believe in confession, the Eucharist, apostolic succession, sacred tradition, or the authority of the Church suddenly becoming experts on Catholicism the second a practicing Catholic speaks.
No.
You are allowed to disagree with me.
You are allowed to dislike the Catholic Church.
You are allowed to think I am wrong.
But you do not get to redefine my faith for me because the real version makes you uncomfortable.
Catholicism is not whatever opinion happens to fit your politics, your worldview, or your personal grievances with the Church.
It is a faith with doctrine.
With authority.
With sacraments.
With 2,000 years of history.
With saints who died rather than deny it.
And no, being Catholic does not mean I think every priest is perfect, every bishop is wise, every Pope is beyond criticism, or every decision made inside the Vatican is good.
Catholics know better than anyone that the Church is made of sinners.
That does not make the faith false.
It makes the need for Christ painfully obvious.
So if you are not Catholic and want to ask me questions, ask.
If you genuinely want to understand, I will talk to you all day.
But if you are going to lecture me about my own faith while rejecting the very Church you are explaining to me, save it.
I am not Catholic because it is fashionable.
I am not Catholic because it is easy.
I am Catholic because I believe it is true.
And the more seriously I take that, the less interested I become in letting people who do not practice it tell me how I should.
Gonzaga University, a “Catholic” college, tried to shut us out because they’re scared of the truth about abortion.
I was banned from tabling. The administration prevented students from coming inside to ask questions. “Catholic” student protestors demanded the Church bend to abortion.
This indoctrination is happening on college campuses across America, including at “Catholic” schools. Let’s be clear: you cannot be Catholic and support abortion. The backlash I faced here is in direct contradiction to the Church.
I’m not going anywhere.
🚨A RARE MOVE by a Virginia Bishop Ahead of Election Day
"Catholic Bishop Michael Burbidge says he has never before asked every priest in his diocese to do what he requested this weekend: read a letter at Mass urging Catholics to oppose two Virginia constitutional amendments on abortion and marriage."
"Across 70 parishes serving more than 430,000 Catholics in Northern Virginia, worshippers heard Burbidge warn against what he called 'two dangerous ballot initiatives'—proposed constitutional amendments that Virginians will decide Nov. 3. Early voting begins Friday."
"The effort follows a joint statement Burbidge issued with Richmond Bishop Barry Knestout in August. In his latest letter, Burbidge urged parishioners to pledge to vote at https://t.co/kJzKhv4RZd, cast ballots early beginning Friday, and encourage their family, friends, and colleagues to oppose the amendments." ...

@dom_lucre They never compromise because they truly believe in their secular religion. It’s a good reminder that if so many can be wildly committed to incoherent lies, following Christ and proclaiming His truth can and should feel effortless.
