Tom replicates a pair of heelies, but Janeway and the Doctor agree that they're a uniform violation and a safety hazard. As a joke, B'Elanna asks to add heelies to her own uniform. To her surprise, the request is approved! Soon, almost everyone but Tom has permission for heelies.
The Doctor recommends that Seven should get a pet to explore her "nurturing" side. She won't admit that she enjoys having a pet, but gets VERY defensive when Janeway questions whether a lizard belongs clinging to her shoulder in astrometrics.
Tom learns about Silly Bandz and won't stop flinging them around the bridge. Janeway snaps when a voyager-shaped band gets stuck in her hair, but relaxes when the incident inspires B'Elanna's engineering solution to the A-Plot.
Chakotay builds a ship in a bottle.
Tom and B'Elanna watch Beetlejuice for a movie night. B'Elanna startles when Beetlejuice introduces himself as the ambassador to the recently deceased, reminding her of Neelix's title in Grethor.

Janeway: no, absolutely not
B'Elanna Torres: I would like to almost kill myself so I can go get my mother from the Barge of the Dead

Tired of putting in extra shifts in Sick Bay, Tom designs a hologram of himself to act as a nurse. The Doctor soon becomes frustrated with "Tom's" constant presence and demands control over when the program runs, raising some eyebrows among the senior staff.
Torres resists on the grounds that she's "just not comfortable letting everyone on the ship feel her senses" but eventually relents and lets Harry try it.
The color is green. Tom is colorblind.
Tom tries out Voyager's new diagnostic device (which allows doctors to experience patients' sensory input) with B'Elanna. Everything seems normal until Tom sees a new color visible only to Klingons.
Soon, the whole crew is begging B’Elanna to let them see the "Klingon Color."
Uhura overhears Spock humming on the bridge. Unwilling to admit he enjoyed the improbability field, he claims to be studying the mathematical properties of vocal song.
Later, she tries to discuss a recent article in the Federation Jrnl of Musical Science, which Spock hasn’t read.
The Doctor takes advantage of the easy wardrobe changes made possible by his holographic nature, switching costumes every few minutes, distracting and frustrating the other moviegoers.
When Harry points out Tom’s narrow taste in historical media, he decides to host a Barbenheimer movie night to show that he has range in both genre and era. He tries, and fails, to convince Harry to dress up as the Alan to his Ken.
Afterwards, when asked her opinion, Seven refuses to discuss either movie.
Chakotay first arrives in a suit not unlike Harry’s, although much more properly sized. This surprises most of the crew until he reveals his costume of Gloria’s unnamed husband in the break between films.
