@martensmatt1 @megbasham The texts do not contradict what MacArthur states. He agrees Jesus ‘did do all of that’ BUT it was not his primary purpose. There is a primary purpose (He came to save sinners) that has secondary apps (He became an example for us). Let’s not confuse purpose with application.
