While most politicians retreat to cooler climes in summer, here is someone showing what Gandhian-style, peaceful resistance is truly about. You don’t have to agree with everything he says, but for sheer courage and conviction, he deserves a SALUTE! 💪🏻
And an aside: when Anna Hazare fasted, we in the media covered it round the clock. Sonam Wangchuk’s 15-day protest? Barely a mention. Says a lot about what we choose to amplify and how much things have changed since 2011. 🙏
