Weeks ago, I spoke directly with Major Jason Watson regarding his planned act of civil disobedience.

What I do not hear enough people discussing is the broader constitutional strategy behind his message. I know this because I asked him directly about his motivate, and I think it is important that people understand what he was actually trying to communicate.

The sign he carried, “Impeach. Convict. Remove.”, was not solely about Donald Trump.

His argument extends to the entire executive branch.

In his view, if Democrats regain control of the House, Congress should use the constitutional mechanisms already available to impeach, convict, and remove both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Under the line of succession, that would elevate a Democratic Speaker of the House to the presidency.

No fanfare. No advance announcement. No Bovino in tactical gear. The only thing that changed from the last operation is that the cameras are off, the World Cup is on, and the arrests are accelerating on a schedule the public wasn't told about.

There’s something called the Foreign Gifts and Decorations Act. Any gift worth more than $525 is supposed to go to the government for safekeeping and a president can buy it for fair market value after leaving office. The poster is right about one thing: Oct 7th did NOT happen in a vacuum.
Decades of occupation, raids, child detentions, and filmed confrontations created the conditions for endless cycles of violence.
But full context matters too: These incidents are almost always tied to protests/stone-throwing.
The Tamimi family (featured here) has a long history of staging dramatic filmed clashes for international attention.
History is messy. Both sides have real grievances and real blood on their hands.
The only way out is either brutal victory for one side… or actual peace that neither side currently seems willing to accept.
Never let anyone pretend this conflict started on Oct 7.
