Big Tech will spend $700B+ building AI this year.

Visa and Mastercard can collect a fee when AI agents shop with a card—without funding the build.

In past booms, investors in the builders lost up to 99%. The networks collecting tolls kept getting paid.

Could AI repeat that pattern?

Who collects AI's toll?

In last 2 months

Nifty is Down 10%
NSE500 is Down by 9%

If the correction continues, these are the themes I'd keep on my radar

> Defence + Aerospace
> Power Transmission
> BESS
> AI + Data Centre
> Pharma + CDMO + Medical Devices
> Precision Engineering
> Chemicals
> EV + EV Ecosystem
> Semiconductor + EMS

Different Sector, but one common theme:
Rising Demand + Capacity Expansion + Long Term Infrastructure Needs.

Sorry to interrupt your Sunday, friends.

I really hesitated to write this, but if I don’t speak up today, I will be facing a severe financial crisis within a week or two.

To be clear, I am not asking for charity or financial help. I am asking for work.

I have been completely without work for the last three months. My last project ended on June 30th, and since then I have knocked on every door I know—calling, texting, meeting contacts, and following up.

People say they will try, but after that first talk, the silence takes over. Calls go unanswered or get cut after a couple of rings. I honestly don't know whether the industry is shifting because of AI or if my age (52) is working against me, but despite over 13 years of solid experience in the field, nothing has materialized.

Now, my savings are down to the very end. I can barely hold out for another week or two.

I am a professional content writer, translator, and speaker who is comfortable on stage and in front of the camera. I write and translate fluently across Gujarati, Hindi, and English, with Gujarati being my strongest suit.

Many of you already know my grasp of politics and my political writing, but I am equally adept at covering Bollywood and cricket. My priority is media houses, digital platforms, or publications, but I am open to any genuine writing or translation opportunity.

I can work remotely or take up assignments on-site anywhere in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, as I need to be close to my elderly mother to take care of her health.

Because my situation is urgent, I am especially looking for quick-turnaround freelance assignments or immediate projects where payments can be settled on submission.

If you or anyone in your circle has work, please reach out to me directly in my DMs.

A humble, earnest request: while I deeply value your warmth, please refrain from sending just "best wishes" or "stay strong" messages right now. I am fighting hard to stay out of a very dark headspace, and right now, only actual work leads can pull me through.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support. My inbox is open. 🙏

29,754 stocks. 100 years. $91 trillion of wealth created.

But the median US stock lost money over its listed life.

And just 46 companies accounted for half of all net shareholder wealth created.

This Lantern Labs report is a fascinating deep dive into why a tiny number of businesses create the majority of long-term wealth and why even great businesses can be terrible investments if the investor can't capture the journey.

Highly recommended read for anyone interested in long-term investing.

The Arithmetic of American Wealth Creation

We studied 100 years of US stocks: 29,754 companies, $91tn of net wealth created. Only 3.72% created all of it. The median stock still lost money. Why do a few firms compound for decades while most fade? Our new report digs into that.

The recent Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd.–TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd. JV has an interesting detail that deserves attention.

RPEL’s stock has also seen a notable 65% move over last 3 mths

The JV is between RPEL and TRL Krosaki Refractories, a Nippon Steel subsidiary.

RPEL will own 80%, with TRLK holding 20%.

But the standout feature is the royalty arrangement.

RPEL will receive a royalty from the JV for using its patented manufacturing technology.

A Japanese company paying an Indian company for its technology is unusual. It also provides an external validation of RPEL’s IP and manufacturing know-how.

The JV will be based in East India, close to a large steel and foundry cluster.

It will also get access to TRLK’s quartzite mines — an important raw material for ramming mass.

The ownership, technology royalty and raw-material access make this more than a straightforward JV announcement.
