Highborne were Night Elves, including the ones in Dire Maul which then split and became Skyborne.

Don't be dense, what I'm criticizing is the intro cinematic calling them "high elves", simply change the text to Highborne like Aggrend called them in the interview

But they are a separate race, descended from Highborne. Just like the Skyborne.
