This is some of the craziest wildfire footage I have ever seen.

A new wildfire today near Summerland, BC went from nothing to one of the most intense bursts of fire activity I have seen from any of the fires in the Pacific Northwest this year. It burned OVER 12,000 acres in the matter of hours. Very dry, breezy weather combined with a thick, dry forest led to extraordinary fire growth. I have to imagine there were some unknown local weather conditions around that area that worsened things because usually you only see fire growth like this on upper-echelon fire weather days.

My prayers go out to all that are being affected by this horrible fire.

We have had multiple more fast burning wildfires start up just since this morning. It's only going to get worse as the most extreme conditions arrive tomorrow.
