I think this will one day prove to be one of crypto's most remarkable comeback stories.
Disaster struck when @fuserleer died.
But it forced the foundation to face reality and to begin handing the stack over to an enthusiastic, committed and resourceful community rather than headlessly floundering until it burnt through the remaining treasury.
True decentralisation is beginning for radix, with no venture capitalists and no overpaid executives.
The community is resourceful with a good number of self-made entrepreneurs who i suspect don't really need the money ...
- sharding development (xi'an) - Dan's baby - continues under @flightofthefox 's initiative in rust (no one asked him to step in - he just did)
- volunteers are running validators off their own backs
- unpaid executives have stepped in/been appointed by the community to do the work needed to deliver the transition to the new foundation.
And the big centralised exchanges never listed radix...
But it doesn't matter now - the stack created the alternative infrastructure - decentralised exchanges and bridges - to bring in new capital ....
The pressure is off.
Community expectations are now managed.
The community will deliver - i have no doubt
This is how a startup bootstraps itself.
Xi'an development is underway. But what does the upgrade actually deliver?
→ Infinite linear scalability
→ Unlimited atomic composability
→ Uncapped validator set
→ Runs on commodity hardware

Radix isn’t controlled by a single company or group of VCs.
That makes it credible as an infrastructure.
In global finance, neutrality isn’t optional; it’s required.
Tomorrow, a 5-year saga of genius, tragedy, and resilience culminates. Radix Hyperscale faces its public test, aiming for 500,000 TPS. But this isn't just about tech. It's a story that needs to be told. 🧵
Or if you want to go straight to hands-on: https://t.co/aomVbXCkI8 (1/13)
#Radix is pamping again !!!
We have seen a nice little correction after that last pump, but now buyers are stepping back in. Something is brewing behind the scenes.
$XRD | Higher. 🚀
$SOL $SUI $NEAR $PIPPIN
@lucmatheson FYI, EXRD (Ethereum wrapped XRD) is now available on https://t.co/EBFHQN0OrJ. You can also bridge USDC/USDT onto Radix and buy XRD directly on https://t.co/461vuuBc1f
Why aren’t more people talking about this?
Defi + AI will need scale. Not aware of any other L1 capable of performing at the scale we’ll need. I’m not 100% clear how the foundation is changing - regardless, there are a lot of crypto nerds out there and generally surprised more devs aren’t building for the future on @radixdlt
This has nothing to do with open btw.
Buying more Radix $XRD here.
- Most advanced L1 tech
- A real, super active community
They just got rid of the damocles sword that has kept the price down for over five years: The foundation. Now, with $XRD being in the hands of the community, i think the sky is the limit for this coin.
At ~$25M market cap, its undoubtedly extremely undervalued. A fair valuation, based on the tech, would be at least 50% of $SUI's market cap. ($5.6b/2 = $2.8b = more than a 100x from its current price)
Send it !!!
$ETH $SOL $APT $NEAR $TRX
How do i know that sharded radix (hyperscale) will be delivered?
I don't, and the main architect, @fuserleer, tragically died!
Dan's version of hyperscale, written in java, is partially open sourced, is undergoing continual community testing and i understand will be fully open sourced once the radix stack is handed over to the community ....
However, a new hyperscale, written in rust, is being worked on quietly in parallel by @flightofthefox.
No one asked the fox to do this.
The iniative was the fox's own.
The fox is not being paid to do this ...
And the work is fully open sourced at https://t.co/Gbk3mGHDqg
To date, i have acquired circa 15 million xrd at a cost just over $98,000, valued today at just under $20,000 representing an 80% loss.
So why do I keep buying?
Simply because the community, like the fox, is working to deliver Dan's vision.
So, for example, on the maintenance of the network, there will, i believe, be enough of us to pay for nodes out of our own pockets - i would run one.
On governance, people have stepped up and offered to provide their expertise for free at https://t.co/kUrZT3m6lN.
I have offered my experience as a qualified account, again for free.
Ultimately it wont take many of us to deliver Dan's vision.
Bitcoin was released like this.
Open sourced and left to it's own devices.
I also own btc, avax, sui, egld, apt, near, ada, dot, algo and pyth - predominantly layer 1 cryptos - but radix gets the most of my attention.
🚀 This is a huge moment for Hyperscale.
@timanrebel from @radixdlt just shared the update many of us have been waiting for:
“500k+ in the pocket. Stable, and reproducible.”
Private testing is coming next, with proper planning, guides, and time for troubleshooting.
No rushing. No shortcuts. Just solid engineering.
This is what real progress looks like.
Proud of how far Hyperscale - and this community - have come. 💙

THIS is assimilating
The town Christmas Tree in Dearborn Hights Michigan didnt come. So a local Arab American Muslim businessman stepped in to save the holidays
Sam Hussien, owner of J&T Crova, Muslim business owner, donated a 40 foot Norway spruce valued at $10,000 to the city
City officials say he not only covered the cost of the tree but also made sure it was delivered and installed in time for the holiday season.
