Mr Potts at no.9 carved dolls’ heads instead of pumpkins, to freak the kids out.

Liv’s Creepy Crystal #doll had all the right #attributes, so she left her outside his house.

Teddy had none of the #attributes of the standard “creepy #doll”.

His fur was clean, his button eyes bright. He didn’t stand out when he appeared in piles of birthday presents.

Nobody blamed him when the kids went missing. That’s how he took them all.

She buried the #doll in the neighbours' garden. She buried the thing facedown, wrapped in duct tape to hide the bloodstains. But of course it came back, on Halloween of all nights, leaving dirt tracked through the house, sitting pretty and cracked on her bed.
