Many fans thought Ragnarok was the passing of the torch to allow Kratos to retire. We were right in some regard but the shift in tone from 2018 proved God of War is bigger than Kratos.

She laid the path, caused the events to take place as they did throughout the entire game, this new game takes place the same time as Ragnarok. Maybe she is the main character. Kratos wasnt GoW until he killed Ares

@Let_theArrowFly @Awk20000 We have had 10 official games playing as Kratos in God of War. They are still making games where Kratos is the main playable character. They are doing a TV series, expanding the franchise with more stories to enrich the world. I am excited to play this spinoff of something new.

@philzona Yeah, except in real life the poacher is hunting with guns and traps instead of other Lions, Rhinos, etc to fight and weaken their catch. Then once it is "caught" its rushed to a med center to become fully healed and train along side you instead of being turned into a rug.

what is actually interesting here is to ask why people are offended that a lower reviewed game can sell massive numbers. Hollywood is full of mid reviewed movies that were blockbusters and the outrage isn’t there. You can love pizza and beer and it doesn’t need to be 10/10.
