The FIDA Annual Conference is always a special moment. A time to reconnect, reflect on the journey, celebrate the work done, and have honest conversations about the FIDA we want to build.
For me, FIDA has been a meaningful part of my professional and leadership journey for many years.
I am a lifetime member of FIDA, a former Board Member and Vice-Chair, and today, I continue to serve as a member of the FIDA Mediation House Fundraising Committee.
As we enter Day 2 of the Conference, I look forward to the conversations, the exchange of ideas, the fellowship, and, most importantly, the opportunity to reflect on how we can build on FIDA’s strong legacy while shaping an even stronger future.
The work continues. The vision remains. And the commitment to FIDA endures.💜💜
Mimi personally, there's nothing I'll ever find appealing, enticing or mesmerising about that family. Not their houses, not their cars, not their matatus, not their events, not their clothes or 'friendship.' An evil, murderous family can do nothing me. Nada.
Mnasahau mpaka Charlene alikuwa na office of the first daughter 🤣🤣🤣 na pesa zetu saa hizo Kenyans can't afford 3 meals a day, Kenyans can't access quality healthcare etc
Weka siasa kwa roho kabisa. That family is the reason you have to think twice before you spend money on lunch, the reason we don't have a working healthcare and education is in the pits. The reason you have to campaign for blood for your loved one, the reason we have compromised
One day i'm gonna be married with a pretty ring on my finger and every night i'll get to sleep next to my husband and i'll be warm and happy. i can't wait ugh yes!
Currently, we’re living through a timeline where you can work a full 40-hour week, eat at home, have zero hobbies, and still somehow end up with a negative balance on payday.
Murkomen had promised to punish the police officers who were spotted beating young men in a pool in Nandi. Kumbe he was transferred to Kikuyu and also promoted.
He’s among the main suspects who killed Dr. Mutiso. Korom
if there's one thing i have learned from the women before me, it is not to make huge life altering sacrifices for men. They do not deserve such loyalty and commitment
What happens when women in law come together to discuss justice, innovation and democracy? ⚖️
We’re about to find out.
The FIDA Annual Conference & Members Retreat kicks off today at Swahili Beach, bringing together conversations on Gender Justice, Digital Innovation and Democracy Building.
Three days of ideas, connections, learning and hopefully a lot of fun along the way. 🌊✨
Because change doesn’t happen by watching from the sidelines.
See you at Swahili Beach!
