On Friday we finished our first Climathon (Climate change and Environment Hackathon) in which we had six passionate teams who worked together to find sustainable, innovative ideas to tackle local climate and environment challenges.

Super proud of our participants in Climathon Hackathon, who had intensive training from Rand Safi on Ideation and critical thinking. The training aimed to help participants develop entrepreneurial ideas which contribute to #cleanwater, #cleanenergy, and #climateaction.

"HelpHer" is a mobile application ๐ฑ which aims to help females report ๐ harassment and violence, and request help by connecting them with police and therapists.

EduPower is a mobile application for #selfeducation which helps school students learn under the supervision of specialists in the field. It includes several courses which are designed to help students with special needs.

Part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence VTech Road research team carried out a research experiment on 681 males and females living in Palestine. The results revealed that 21.7% witnessed domestic violence and 87.7% never reported it.
"Hack to Empower and Save Women" Hackathon in Partnership, with America House Jerusalem & Ramallah and @GirlsinTech - Palestine had a great impact on participants' SDG awareness, technical and programming skills, and entrepreneurship skills.
