An outage at Dietrick Hall has impacted Slusher Hall's hot water and the air cooling system at several residence halls. Students residing in Slusher are welcome to visit McComas Hall for hot showers.

(10/25/23): WATER OUTAGE (8:06 A.M.): Due to a water main break on @virginia_tech’s Blacksburg campus at approx. 7:30 a.m., Dietrick Hall is experiencing a full water outage, Slusher Hall - a hot water outage, and some buildings - warmer than normal temperatures. Repairs underway

Always follow the instructions when cooking food, do not leave cooking food unattended, and ensure that you have enough water in the pan, pot, or bowl when cooking pasta and rice.
