@ParikhSimul Not to minimize anything but the “full force” of Astro being a single tweet from a past president actually explains a lot about the state of #radonc :)
@hauntedsocial @bubbles_brat @AfibWithRiver@AbbyRedMD I agree I’ve worked with HIV patients including doing invasive procedures, and it’s been fine with standard precautions. I will say I was more mindful/aware of my needles in those cases. I’m not sure why that’s controversial
@AfibWithRiver@AbbyRedMD Not being there, can’t comment on the way it was discussed. I don’t think communicating factual HIV status is inherently any more taboo than hepC, MSRA, or CDiff etc status. Hope there’s a way to communicate information in a way that’s not stigmatizing
@tubesandlines @NeelaJan@dr_ashwitt Sure many women have that experience, and it’s wrong, but in this case it seems like waking someone up to seek profesional assistance is the opposite of presuming she is not a doctor
@SandeepBaglaMD@lemmiwenks@Emily_R_Song 1. I think you misunderstood @lemmiwenks - The threatened specialty that defines itself with a modality was radonc
2. Great respect for my excellent IR colleagues, but the referring is the one managing the disease, sorry. Does IR even follow patients? Have never seen it
