After my wife died in September 2022, I had to sell my stack to get by. I'm proud to say I'm finally stacking again. I'll be staying solvent and stacking as much as possible after I buy a new chair. Commenting "Weak Hands" will definitely make me laugh! She loved Bitcoin.
Nature keeps working no matter how crazy human leaders become. Leaders: women are men. Nature: OK. You've selected cultural extinction. Leaders: let's value opinion over data. Nature: I wouldn't drive over that bridge if I were you. Nature is the best teacher.
Almost all of investing/finance can be summed up as shorting abundant things and going long scarce things.
And time is the scarcest thing of all. Have a nice weekend!
If the Fed keeps rates steady, then federal interest expense will increase $500B throughout the year.
If the Fed cuts rates by 1.5% then they will increase interest expense by only $100 billion. But if they do that, they increase the risk of oil price re-acceleration.
The rising bitcoin price alerts people that there is something wrong with their native currencies and the permissionless nature of bitcoin provides them with an avenue to escape the inferno.
Bitcoin is the alarm system and the lifeboat.

For something that only happens every four years and is as brilliant as the #Bitcoin Halving, you simply have to create an artistic legacy for future generations. I'm attempting it!
Biden administration is proposing a 30% tax on electricity used by #bitcoin miners, even if you are off-grid using your own solar and wind generation. All of the reasons they provide are pretextual, their real reason is that they want to suppress Bitcoin and launch a CBDC.
Elon Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion.
If he’d bought bitcoin instead he would now have $143 billion.
It would have almost doubled his current net-worth.
Let that sink in.
Nobody gave AF about the El Salvadoran people when they had the highest homicide rate in the world.
But clean up the gangs, reduce poverty, have potentially the sharpest decrease in violence ever, have a surge in tourism, adopt #Bitcoin, give the middle finger to the IMF, issue #Bitcoin bonds, & suddenly the US must SaVe DeMoCrAcY

The fact that Satoshi:
1) published the Bitcoin white paper before he launched it,
2) kept it on track for 2 years with upgrades,
3) disappeared without ever spending his own coins for profit, and
4) had such skill that people can't prove his identity,
is... remarkable.
The root cause for violence is governmentS stealing from each other. How? By adjusting their local money ledgers to benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else. When dealing with paper value units, short-term interests of retribution dominate collective long-term incentives of growth. Frictionless retribution via violence is easily paid for with fiat debasement (hidden tax) as opposed to in-your-face, pay me right now, tax.
So how do you stop this? Change the money! Buy #Bitcoin. Hold Bitcoin. *Hold the keys to your Bitcoin* and get it off exchanges. Force the world to play YOUR game. Defund violence by taking their monetary energy away.
Pay attention to the words used here.
Optimal level = subjective
More effective = subjective
Real-world needs = subjective
Bad actors will inevitably want to co-opt #Bitcoin and turn it into something they can control by adding vague subjective requirements.
We already have that with fiat money and it’s clear that experiment has failed.
Bitcoin’s value lies in its resistance to subjective determinations and the whims of weak minded individuals.
