Today, we officially onboarded the Tourism Research & Development Centre (TRDC), led by Dr. Jim Ayorekire.
TRDC will measure economic impact of our events, build Events Database and publish an annual impact report.

Pushed for MICE/events to be recognized as a core pillar, and raised key sector challenges, financing, high security costs & 18% VAT on tickets.

Earlier Today, the Uganda Tourism Association @UTAUganda Secretariat visited National Tourism Events Organizers Federation Office as we finalized our registration and aligned on leveraging tourism events to drive the sector.
